To enable persons in Bolton and the surrounding area as well as elsewhere who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those who may be at risk of suicide, to receive confidential emotional support at any time of the day or night in order to improve their emotional health and reduce the incidence of suicide, to promote a better understanding in society of suicide.

Our aim is to create an inclusive environment for all children through music. From our work in the community, we provide practical and financial support for music projects which raise aspirations and enable young people to fulfil thier potential. We develop strategic partnerships, and work closely with our supporters, to develop the case for continued investment in music education.

We aim to positively impact the mental, physical and spiritual well-being of children, teenagers and adults at risk of area of East Bolton, through practically demonstrating God's love to them. We currently do this by working in partnership with schools and churches to provide one-to-one listening services and small group arts therapy for children who are suffering with their mental health.

The Lord Jesus our Redeemer Ministries is a non profit educational,social,cultural,missionary and outreach Christ centered Bible believing charitable trust.The Trust is administered and managed by the Trustees in which none of them receive any payment for their sevices.Its goal is to abvance the Christian faith for the benefit of the general public especially children,young people and the elderly.

The Destitution Project (DP) aims to provide a safe environment where asylum seekers and refugees who live in Bolton can find friendship, food, and practical help. We deliver our support through two primary arms of activity:1) A weekly Drop-in Centre on a Wednesday, in the Wesley Suite at Victoria Hall. 2) Casework services for asylum seekers, including those who become destitute.

Highfield Hall Community Centre - this is a community resource for leisure and educational pursuits, with group usage for art circle, karate, community events and gatherings for Table Tennis club, drama and choral groups, and childcare provision. We have a large car park. If you are looking for a room to rent for recreation and leisure time occupation please contact us.

MEEN supports teachers, organisations & individuals working to promote Education for Sustainable Development. To achieve this we offer opportunities to share good practice & network, run training events & INSET, provide a directory & newsletter.

Continue to operate three brass bands. These are all very active in providing concerts and music to the general public. The Junior band continues to attract young players and train them.

Primarily to encourage interest in Industrial Heritage, particularly the stationary steam engine as widely used in the textile industry throughout the north of England. The Society has developed a museum at the Bolton Steam Museum where its collection of some 29 steam engines can be seen working in steam by the public on regular Open Days.

The disabled members enjoy taking part in our training holidays that happen twice a year at christmas and in the summer. all our support is provided by our loyal volunteers . during the year we participate in activities such as walking, pictures, eating out and planning the allotment. all members have a say in what particular activity we are going to do regardless of ability. everybody is welcom

We promote the community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bolton and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket and other sports. The club have three adults and three junior teams playing in a local cricket league. We also hold cricket competition and fun day for the local community.
