As a PTA (Parent-Teacher Association), there are numerous activities that we take part in to support the school community and promote the well-being of students.

Diversions' is a support network, based in the North West of England, for families with a child or young person living with a bladder or bowel diversion / dysfunction. We provide opportunities for people to experience a range of different fun activities through our regular programme of events. These include outdoor adventures and team building tasks, art work-shops and day trips out

Singing training to male members, giving concerts to support other charitable and community based organisations.

The school PTA is an organisation that works entirely for the community served by the school, which is an area of significant deprivation, unemployment, poor health and juvenile nuisance. The PTA provides events and training for families who otherwise might suffer from isolation and lack of education. These events use the school as the heart of the community and a centre of support.

The interest received annually from the proceeds of sale of Hollands School at Farnworth, Greater Manchester, to be used to further religious, educational and charitable work of Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of East Farnworth & Kearsley and Trinity Methodist Church, Farnworth.

To advance the public's education in art, in particular in relation to all aspects and techniques of drawing, sketching and painting in Adlington and district.

The objective of the charity is to advance the Islamic faith, particularly amongst children, by providing education in subjects such as reciting the Quran, Performing daily prayers, Fasting and Hajj and Umrah.

Bolton Neuro Voices works with five local support groups (Stroke, ME. Parkinson's. MS and Motor Neurone Disease) and also with individuals with rarer conditions to improve quality of life. It provides a range of services including links to statutory bodies, information and access to hydrotherapy and dry exercise. Involvement in these activities facilitates mutual support and reduces isolation.

Heritage Tramcar restoration and running of restored vehicles within Heaton Park in Manchester, run solely by volunteers. Maintaining heritage tramway infrastructure and undertaking restoration works on tramcars originally built from 1880 onwards.

We have held various activities over the previous year that include halloween disco,coffee mornings, christmas fair, easter egg bingo, summer fair and secrets rooms, treat fridays.

To restore, reconstruct, preserve, maintain and improve the Manchester Bolton & Bury Canal

The Friends of Smithills Hall, working in partnership with Bolton council, seek to enhance and preserve the attractions of Smithills Hall, a building of architectural and historic interest open to the public. The Friends undertake fundraising activities and provide volunteers to work at the Hall as guides and in other capacities.
