Dorset Scrapstore provides resources for educational purposes to those having need of them throughout the county of Dorset including Bournemouth and Poole by operating a scrapstore containing donated surplus, reject or otherwise unwanted materials donated by businesses.

Provides a place of worship for an Orthodox Christian parish. Cares for and raises funds to repair an ecclesiastical building of architectural merit. Rents out the church hall for use by local organisations. Provides a venue for the performance of classical music. Helps to integrate Orthodox Christians from abroad into British society.

The Church carries out the following activities:- morning prayer services each day (with the exception of Sundays and Mondays), Sunday worship services, Sunday School, student group, Church meals after the Sunday worship service, weekly adult bible studies, weekly prayer meetings, youth/student weekly bible studies, education and missionary program for Korean students, and bi-annually vision trips

Promoting natural healthcare and providing complementary therapies, especially in relation to cancer support.

Provide professional development opportunities to artists and makers in Dorset.To form close ties with schools and colleges and provide grants for educational and training purposes in the field of visual arts and crafts.To support and encourage emerging artists.

BREACC promotes Portuguese as a heritage language, fostering understanding and appreciation for Brazilian culture, literature, music, art and dance. We serve Brazilians, friends of Brazil and mixed families through educational programs, social events and cross-cultural exchange. We provide empowering experiences that help children feel confident, connected and proud of their heritage.

The charity recruits tutors to lead groups to discuss or participate in a wide variety of topics and activities. We provide venues for about 100 classes ranging from academic subjects such as languages, literature, writing, philosophy and history to more active pursuits such as tennis, badminton, dancing, cycling, walking and keep-fit exercising, music and drama.

The principal activity of the charity will aim to raise funds from an annual golf day and related events, including sponsorship and donations. These funds will then be used to provide relief to children and young people, within the area of Dorset and surrounding counties, who are suffering from physical or learning disabilities, in line with the Charity's objective.

the Charity continues to operate as a youth centre in the Southbourne area of Bournemouth, being one of the oldest youth clubs in the country where thousands of young people have benefited over 100 plus years. The centre has had its first year open in the new guise as a world class My Place centre meeting the needs of young people in the 21st century.

Providing educational and other farm based activities for children and young adults including those with mental health, emotional or behavioural problems together with their families/carers to develop physical, mental and spiritual capacity and grow to maturity as individuals and as members of society and so their conditions of life are improved.

DEED is a Global Education Centre and a member of the Consortium of Development Education Centres (CoDEC). DEED aims to develop a better understanding of global issues and cultural diversity to help create a more just, fair and sustainable world. We work in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) and Dorset with local organisations including schools and community groups.

To present the public with UK and international specialised film (archive, classic, foreign language, art house, and independent) of an objectively high class and standard at an annual film festival

Bournemouth Natural Science Society, through its extraordinary Natural History, Egyptology & Earth Science collection & exhibits, together with numerous learning opportunities, promotes & stimulate an interest for lifelong learning & care for our natural world. To provide facilities for the inhabitants of Bournemouth and the neighbourhood in the interests of social welfare bowls for recreation and leisure time occupation,for the purpose of relaxation and with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants.

The trust supports and pioneers projects in BCP to strengthen disadvantaged individuals and communities, promoting physical, mental and social health, and empowering people to make positive life changes. Projects include addiction recovery, befriending, money courses, sports clubs, social events for minority groups, ADHD support, free crafts for children, and a community worker in a deprived area.

We believe that all people are loved by God and should be welcomed and fully included into the Church whatever their sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, nationality, ability, age, financial status, family status or faith background. We were founded in 1979 as Metropolitan Community Church of Bournemouth. We changed our name to Inclusive Community Church in 2018.
