We are a traditional village brass band. We aim to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education and appreciation of traditional and new brass band music. We perform publicly at fetes, concerts, in churches, public houses and functions. We provide opportunities for musicians to meet, borrow instruments and receive professional training and we encourage composers and arrangers by rehearsi

Open rehearsals of choral music for all ages and abilities, culminating in public performances; together with encouragement of appreciating variety of music for wide spectrum of singers and audiences in area; including work with youth, elderly and unwell and assistance with Singing for the Brain charity.

Weekly rehearsals of choral singing through most of each year. Public performances of a wide range of choral works in the East Berkshire, Northwest Surrey and Northeast Hampshire area. Typically about 4 or 5 perfomances are given each year.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. It promotes the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BERKS/HANTS/SURREY BORDER IN TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING BY; PRESERVING AND FURTHERING THE PRACTICE OF TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCES; PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN PROVIDING INSTRUCTION IN THE DANCING OF SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCES; PROMOTING THE ENJOYMENT AND APPRECIATION OF SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING AND MUSIC BY OTHER SUITABLE MEANS.

Promotion of Choral singing in the area of NE Hants and Surrey/Berks borders

The promotion of the spiritual, moral, mental and physical capacities of persons in the parishes of Crowthorne, Finchampstead, Sandhurst and Wokingham Without. Preference to those qualified who are under 25.

To promote, improve and maintain public education and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the society through its committee shall determine from time to time.

The education and training of children and young people

Regatta for the Disabled is an annual event, usually held towards the end of the Summer in Henley on Thames. It exists to provide boating opportunities for disabled people, regardless of their level of ability and to raise the profile of disabled people accessing the river.

To provide education/training mainly by self help. Exchange of knowledge & experience for mutual benefit. To provide recreational/social activities and moral support. Sporting activities.

The Club organises lectures, workshops and field activities relating to wild birds and their conservation. It manages surveys and recording and prepares an annual report on the birds of Berkshire. It maintains the Berkshire county database of bird records and makes the data available to bona fide researchers and other interested parties. It raises funds and gives grants for bird conservation.

The relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually, of people living, and charitable organisations, in Sunningdale and the surrounding area, by making grants of money for providing or paying for items, services or facilities which they could otherwise not afford. our activities involve the community individually and collectively to give positive life experiences and to raise funds.

We welcome young musicians to join our orchestra, Through the balanced, programming of repertoire, and the weekly rehearsal of musicians, with professional coaching, we prepare works to a performance standard and provide performance opportunities termly. We do not have a geographic constraint despite being named as in 'Reading' - we welcome members from as far as they are willing to travel.

To promote young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, potentials. The method of achieving this is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the scout promise with adult leadership.
