The furtherance of the general religious and charitable purposes of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain in the area of Leeds Area Quaker Meeting and beyond.

The Circuit has 7 churches and employs and supports 2 full time Presbyters and 1 part time Deacon who share their pastoral care, The Circuit supports work in the local churches and St Arnolds (a chaplaincy role in the centre of Bradford). 1 Circuit Manager supporting the churches.

Providing homes in the Community for people suffering from severe and enduring mental health conditions

KAWACC provides a range of services including advice and guidance,educational classes, health activities and youth clubs. We developing healthy and strong communities e.g. cohesion strategy, tackling extremism, helping reduce obesity, young people at risk of Anti-Social Behavior and providing diversionary activities and training programmes.

Provision of Junior Football activities in the Leeds area.

Yorkshire Youth and Music is a Charity offering young people the opportuntity to learn about, and make, music. Our primary aim is to encourage access for and participation by young people in the region who have no other opportunity. We do this by working in partnership across Yorkshire, using and training inspirational musicians.

Glusburn Community and Arts Centre (GCAC) provides facilities for local organisations serving the local community in particular meeting the needs of children, the elderly and the disabled. The range of services includes dance, drama, fitness and sporting activities.Additionally GCAC organises events aimed at furthering the arts and providing entertainment for the local and wider community.

The aims and objectives of the Trust are to improve the quality of life for children and their families whom are Underprivileged, Disadvantaged or Disabled. Whether this is caused by social, physical, mental, emotional circumstances , or as a result of extreme poverty. The Trust provides through their five holiday homes, Free Holidays or Respite breaks for the children and families.

Assist in relieving either generally or individually in cases of need physically handicapped children of any race, religion, colour or creed, whenever and whatever the need arises.

Pudsey Community Project exists to transform Pudsey and its surrounding areas (an area of 20,000 households) with and for the local community, especially for those who are most vulnerable and disadvantaged. We do that through operating Pudsey Foodbank, Pudsey Community Pantry, Reduce Reuse Kids' Clothes, a weekly lunch club and youth and children's provision several times each week.

The objects of the charity are to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in the local government district of Bradford. Missional Generation visits Churches, Christian groups regularly along the M62 corridor to offer input and resources such as videos, devotions and other interactive sessions to inspire in their lives an understanding of scripture and how to be good citizens of hope within their communities. We are keen to cheer on local youth leaders and young people to live out the Christian faith.

Skippko aims to transform lives and empower people through exciting and innovative creative arts projects. We bring people together through workshop programmes, events, exhibitions and training. Our arts workers act as group facilitators, creating a piece of group artwork to increase people's confidence, skills and sense of self worth and to allow them to learn from each other.

To maintain and offer support and therapies to sufferers of multiple sclerosis, including hyberbaric oxygen, physiotherapy, counselling etc. To promote all research necessary to find the cause, cure and prevention of MS and to aid and to improve the condition of those suffering from it.

Thornton & Allerton Community Association manage South Square Centre, a series of Grade II listed workers cottages. The charity runs and a range of arts, community, heritage and wellbeing activities. Rents from small emerging businesses and artists' studios and a team of volunteers underpin the organisation. Wet also apply for grants to run outreach programmes, internships and community events.

Activities of Religious Organisations.

The Provision of a generalist legal advice service to the residents of Manningham and Heaton districts in Bradford. Areas of advice covered include Housing, Welfare Benefits, Employment,Debt and Immigration

Connecting and supporting older individuals to live a fulfilled life. Our schemes are designed to relieve isolation, promote well-being and enable individuals to maintain independence and stronger mental health. These include Befriending, Shopping Assistance, Friendship Groups and Social Events. Our Dementia services provide drop-in support and a Well-Being Cafe. Covering Ilkley and District.

Organising fund raising events to raise money to support local good causes. Primary income dervived from the Ilkley Beer Festival. Also run the Round Table Santa float and collections for Children in Need.

A range of activiites to support local people, including Stay and Play session, kids club, youth sessions, mini movers and holiday scheme for children and young people. Provide a job club, pay as you feel cafe, Talk English class and health and social care course. Work in partnership with Big Swing, CHAS@St Vincents and BMDC Youth Service. A weekly coffee morning and gentle exercise class.

Religious activities within the parish

BD4 Community Trust runs two projects with the aim of Supporting and Restoring Community across the Generations. BD4 Family provides services for pre-school children and their families including Parent & Toddler Groups, Healthy Lifestyle Activities, Nursery Preparation and Infant Massage classes and Gems provide a Day Centre, Supermarket Bus Run and Outings for the older people in the community.

Working with families affected by divorce, separation, living apart to sort out practical issues, resolve conflict or dispute causing distress and standing in way of planning for the future. Looking at shared parenting and care from separate homes, fair division of finances and property on family break up, effects of family breakdown on individual family members, options for dealing with these.
