To support the charitable purposes of Woodhouse Grove School, principally by the provision of funding,assistance and support to the School and by other associated educational activities (in so far as they shall be charitable).

Community Group

The Village Hall is available for hire to local groups and individuals both in and outside the village.

To advance the education of the pupils of Saltaire Primary School by the provision of facilites for education at the school (not normally provided by the local education authority).

The chief activity of the choir is to prepare and perform public concerts of choral music

We have a Sunday morning service at 10.30 a.m. Over 55's group (Silver Liners) 1.00 p.m. Thursday with trips out to Garden or Retail Centres with refreshments. Friday Club for Primary School children (5 to 11 yrs) 6.30 p.m. Fridays in term time. We hire out rooms and the back yard (a safe play area).

Steeton male voice choir gives concerts mainly in its own area but also in other parts of the country and abroad. It performs in a wide variety of concert halls, cathedrals & churches but also does concerts and workshops in nursing homes & schools.

Equine Pathways UK provides equine interactive sessions for children and adults, going through life changing and challenging situations.We off tailor made, individual and group sessions to our centre users, supporting people in need within the community.

From the proceeds from our charity shop in Keighley we support between 20 and 40 orphans with school fees and food every year. Every year we send 20ft worth of items to Zimbabwe. We have provided books to Mpfurudzi Primary school with reading books and computers and we have donated towards construction of a library. We are currently raising funds to build a children's home and learning centre.

Recreational activities for young people including, sailing, canoeing, boatwork, camping, offshore sailing, camps and training courses.

We aim to provide the means for local people over 50 yrs. to pursue their interest in structured groups. We rent appropriate space, provide equipment, produce a time-table and recruit class leaders in return for an annual membership fee and class fee, classes include sports, languages, arts, handicrafts, and games. We hold monthly forums with a speaker, monthly luncheon club & walking group.

The prevention/relief of poverty in Pakistan by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Vocal Expressions is a ladies choir, based in the Holme Valley, West Yorkshire. It meets its objectives through public concerts, singing at other charities' events, & at weddings. The choir's varied repertoire includes traditional & folk songs; classical and religious music and songs from musical shows.
