To educate the public in the art and science of music, with particular reference to music as presented by brass bands, by means of concert and other activities.To advance the musical education of young people by providing them with suitable opportunities to learn to play brass instruments.

Activities on offer include Sailing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Sub Boarding, Canoeing, Pulling (rowing), Field Craft, Drill, Shooting, Cookery and Music.

Ladies Fashion & Pamper Show, and in the coming weeks a Christmas Fair. Raising funds for the Eldwick Primary School students.

MAINTAINS DARWIN GARDENS MILLENNIUM GREEN, A PUBLIC GREENSPACE FOR RECREATION, ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, EDUCATION AND INSPIRATION, AT WELLS ROAD, ILKLEY

We record local weekly newspapers digitally each week for blind and partially sighted people. Every month we produce a Talking Magazine and periodically we record the local council info "Otley Matters". Our listeners either receive a USB stick by post or listen online. Our area covers Otley, Guiseley, Pool, Bramhope, Rawdon, Horsforth, Adel, Cookridge, Ilkley, Menston, Burley and Addingham.

Formed in 1999 the organisation includes a senior band, junior and beginner groups, with 3 current members being at the first rehearsal. To encourage new players and as part of our development policy, workshops are carried out in local schools and 'Music Cafes' are held . Our aim is to keep brass banding alive in the 21st century. 2019 will see the band celebrate its 20th Anniversary.

The relief of the poor and needy anywhere in the world. Current activities are focused on helping1. the community of Ukerewe, an island near Mwanza, Tanzania.2. people suffering from Motor Neurone Disease;3. victims of the earthquakes in Nepal.4. Ukraine

Organises & Promotes fundraising concerts and social events in furtherance of our aims to restore and refurbish the kings hall & winter garden for the benefit of the populace of Ilkley & surrounding communities. Works in close cooperation and partnership with officers and members of Bradford M.D.C and Ilkley Town Council.

The organisation will run a number of community events to bring together families and individuals that areliving in the Bradford district, and have come from Libya and other North African countries. We will runevents such as informal community sport, projects to distribute food during times of crisis (such as thecovid pandemic) and other community events that encourage people to socialize.

PARK

To hold an annual show, if possible, with classes for a wide variety of animals both farm and domestic, to encourage country crafts and skills.To award educational grants to young people to further their studies in connection with agriculture and related subjects, provided that they live in Todmorden or otherwise have a connection with the show.

We hold religious services, Bible discussion groups, lectures and workshops and, from time to time, social activities. We support charitable causes and outreach work in the Bradford area, the UK and worldwide, both in and outside the Christadelphian community.

Scout Group for young people aged 6 to 15 living in Silsden, Steeton and surrounding areas. The Group has Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections.

TO EDUCATE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS. TO PROMOTE PLAYS, DRAMAS, COMEDIES, OPERETTAS AND OTHER WORKS OF EDUCATIVE VALUE AND TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION IN THE SAID ARTS. TO RAISE FUNDS, RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS, DONATIONS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS BUT NOT BY WAY OF ANY TRADING ACTIVITIES. TO ASSIST & FURTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS.

The object of Haworth Band (the charitable company), in accordance with its Constitution, is to provide musical entertainment and services to the community (and wider community) and training and tuition to novices and improvers who seek to learn music for personal gratification or to enhance career directions and/or pursuits as a means of vocational or professional qualifications and employment.
