Womenzone uses a holistic approach to deliver community based health improvement activities in Bradford East and surrounding areas. We work with women of all ages, concentrating our efforts in the areas of deprivation and health inequalities where there is greatest need, and working around the key themes of Physical Health, Mental Health, Training, Nutrition and Wellbeing.

Various activities including a Volunteer Programme in the area of Ravenscliffe & Greengates in North Bradford to support he local community to:* become a Healthier, Stronger and more Active * reduce poverty and social isolation* support better life chances through education, support and skills developmentThis is supported by the Big Lottery

Within West Yorkshire, to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The charity supports the recovery of addicted persons through the provision of accommodation, support and encouragement to pursue a structured recovery programme.

We provide a base for the community to meet and provide support and local resources. We deliver courses and activities that have been requested by the local users in conjunction with our many partnerships. We also provide an advice service. We have a Furniture store which provides low cost furniture. We have a creche where children can be cared for whilst their carer attends one of our courses.

Regular public worship open to all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity by various means. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Youth work with a Christian ethos. Promoting of Christianity through events and meetings and distributing literature. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

The charity is a church that operates in Bradford, West Yorkshire.We provide many community and life changing activities that are available to be accessed by our community and these are delivered by paid staff and volunteers.

The Bradford Foundation Trust is a civil society organisation actively engaged in community empowerment. Provision of accountancy services, financial advice, information and training to charities and community groups.

Objectives are to:1) prevent and relieve hardship and need and distress amongst those who are homeless and rootless by the provision of practical and emotional support, in particular but not exclusively to those who are sleeping rough or who are unwilling or unable to accept existing provision;2) educate the public concerning the problems of social isolation and homelessness.

Purple Patch Arts exists to improve the lives and life chances of people with learning disabilities by providing innovative, inclusive, creative learning experiences for them and the professionals that support them.

Full day care Nursery, community support, health initiatives, jobs and benefits advice, support based on local need, groups and social activities for children and adults across the age range. Children's activities age 5-13. Adult learning to build capacity and skills for local people. This is supported by our creche provision. An elderly day care provision. Partnerships to maximise effectiveness.

PATH provides Positive Action Training to Black and Minority Ethnic people.

Provision of regular public acts of worship open to members of church and non members..23 Churches available for prayer, contemplation,pastoral support visiting sick and beareved. We work with schools, youth elderly,supporting socially disadvantaged. Support other charities in both the UK and overseas financially and with prayer. Teaching of christianity through sermons, courses/small groups.

Further develop and benefit residents of Keighley, specifically neighbourhood of Highfield. By associating together residents, local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, leisure time occupation with the objective of improving conditions of life for residents.

The aims and activities of the charity are to advance the Islamic religion for the benefit of the public in particular but not exclusively by:(a) maintaining a mosque to hold prayers(b) hosting lectures and visits(c) hosting lectures and visits(d) providing Islamic funeral and other services required by the community

For the benefit of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation,in Bradford and surrounding areas) by the following means:The relief of financial hardship and unemployment,education and training, financial assistance. The provision of housing for those who are in conditions of need and the improvement of housing in the public sector or in charitable ownership.
