STARS Community Creations is a community hub for individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues in the Bridgend areaThe charity is named STARS, which stands for Skills, Training, Assessment, Resources and Services. These are all things that users of the STARS centre can access.

Improving the physical conditions for thyroid cancer patients receiving treatment at Velindre hospital, Cardiff. Developing gardens outside treatment rooms to provide a pleasant outlook for patients. A mural to provide an interesting view for patients. Providing information booklets for patients. Raising funds for new projects that will benefit thyroid cancer patients specifically.

Main Activities include provision of a meeting place for:-1. The Dance Group2. The Whist Group3. The OAP's meeting placeProvides a meeting place for many charitable groups and for events for the over 50's

Supporting the activity of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast Project in conserving the natural beauty of the environment and providing amenities for the general public.

We run a weekly tuck shop for the children attending orchestra rehearsals. We raise funds at orchestra concerts via ticket sales/raffles. We accept donations and sometimes apply for relevant grants.

We raise funds for the benefit of the Maesteg Community Hospital and its patients.

Provide introduction to the Welsh language to children aged 2 to 3 prior to them entering the Welsh language primary school (ysgol gynradd gymraeg) at Maesteg in the County Borough of Bridgend, Wales.
