We run a Museum in the centre of Bristol, open regularly to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00am to 6.00pm. We open by request for group visits at other time. We also curate and respond to requests to host events, such as film nights, poetry evenings, musical events, talks and discussions to increase knowledge about Palestine and its people. We are run entirely by volunteers.

RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUED RESEARCHING AND WRITING OF THE VICTORIA COUNTY HISTORY FOR THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE (IE INCLUDING SOUTH GLOS)

A Community centre based around social activities with specific reference to the elderly and disabled of all ages including lunch club, indoor bowls, tea dance, gentle exercise etc

Provision of equipment, training and ongoing financial support allowing doctors and other critical care trained clinicians to respond as volunteers when requested by the statutory ambulance service.

TO RELIEVE PATIENTS AND FORMER PATIENTS OF SOUTHMEAD HOSPITAL, WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, INFIRM OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF SOUTHMEAD HOSPITAL. WE PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER MEDICAL AIDS FOR THE HOSPITAL. WE RUN A COFFEE SHOP AND A TROLLY SERVICE IN THE OUTPATIENTS DEPT.

We support small charities working in Bristol, BANES and South Gloucestershire with a focus on pump priming the development of small charities and also helping with initial seed funding for larger appeals.We support charities working with disadvantaged children and young people, rehabilitation, severe poverty and homelessness, the elderly. We do not normally support large national charities.

The trust operates in the South West of England and provides spiritual support to the The Buddhist community via religious festivals and events held throughout the year and the provision of a permanent home or temple with resident monks where spiritual support can be provided.

General Charitable Purposes, making grants to local organisations.

The principal purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The Church may also advance education and carry out other charitable purposes in the UK and the wider world. The church offers a range of services during the week that are open to all members of the public.

Scouting activities including outdoor activities, crafts, camping and other leisure activities.

To raise funds in our shop to support the work of small, local animal rescues. To promote neutering and general animal welfare, offer advice and assistance where needed.

PROMOTES INTEREST IN THE ANTIQUITIES OF BRISTOL AND GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND ENCOURAGES THE STUDY OF ARCHAEOLOGY BY HOLDING MEETINGS, PUBLISHING BOOKS, REPORTS AND PAPERS, PRINTING AND PUBLISHING ANCIENT RECORDS AND MANUSCRIPTS, MAINTAINING A LIBRARY, WHICH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND ADVOCATING AND ENCOURAGING THE PRESERVATION OF SITES AND BUILDINGS OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST

To advance the Christian faith in Sandwell for the benefit of the public by:1. PROVIDING SACRED SPACES, MEETINGS, LECTURES, EVENTS, CELEBRATIONS AND FESTIVALS2. CONTRIBUTING TO THE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL EDUCATION OF THE COMMUNITY3. PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION AND COMMUNITY COHESION4. ENGAGING IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 62nd Bristol Scout Group give young people of Bristol the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The Charity comprises local Church Congregations, allow attendance of religious activities and church services in different localities such as in Kettering, Hatfield, Bristol, Derby and Birmingham. The religious activities and local Sunday church services are attended by church members and also non-church members who are willing to receive the word of God and spiritual healing.

To relieve the needs of persons, who are in need, by virtue of being homeless or rough sleepers in Bristol, through the provision of support, advocacy and basic necessities for survival

The Trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and have determined that, for the time being, the principal beneficiaries of the charity will be Collegiate School and any members of the public who wish their children to benefit from an independent education at Collegiate School but are unable to afford the cost of independent education.

The Moggery rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes approximately 250 abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens each year. We assist low income families with the cost of neutering, frequently providing transport for pets to local vets. We trap and neuter feral colonies in the Bristol area. We give advice and help on a 24/7 basis to anxious cat owners.
