Raising sufficient funds to issue food, clothes and toys vouchers just prior to Christmas to circa 1600 known underpriviliged children living within the Bristol city boundary.

RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE CONTINUED RESEARCHING AND WRITING OF THE VICTORIA COUNTY HISTORY FOR THE HISTORIC COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE (IE INCLUDING SOUTH GLOS)

A Community centre based around social activities with specific reference to the elderly and disabled of all ages including lunch club, indoor bowls, tea dance, gentle exercise etc

The maintenance and improvement of the physical wellbeing of persons resident in Bristol and the surrounding neighbourhood by the provision of facilities for physical training and recreation.

Provision of equipment, training and ongoing financial support allowing doctors and other critical care trained clinicians to respond as volunteers when requested by the statutory ambulance service.

Presents public choir concerts and broadcasts in local venues with members from Bristol and surrounding counties and hosts educational tours for its members.

The promotion of participation in amateur sport and healthy recreation through the provision of facilities,encouragement and instruction in rowing for the community of Bristol and surrounding areas.

We support small charities working in Bristol, BANES and South Gloucestershire with a focus on pump priming the development of small charities and also helping with initial seed funding for larger appeals.We support charities working with disadvantaged children and young people, rehabilitation, severe poverty and homelessness, the elderly. We do not normally support large national charities.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 62nd Bristol Scout Group give young people of Bristol the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

To relieve the needs of persons, who are in need, by virtue of being homeless or rough sleepers in Bristol, through the provision of support, advocacy and basic necessities for survival

Fund raising through the organisation of a variety of events throughout the school year.

The Moggery rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes approximately 250 abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens each year. We assist low income families with the cost of neutering, frequently providing transport for pets to local vets. We trap and neuter feral colonies in the Bristol area. We give advice and help on a 24/7 basis to anxious cat owners.

Provision of search & rescue services to Avon & Somerset Police in Somerset and elsewhere

Elmtree Preschool is based in Bristol, we provide early childhood education to the local community, for children 2 - 5 years old. We keep our session numbers small, providing a nurturing home from home environment, where children can thrive. Elmtree Preschool aims to play an essential role within the community, offering a supportive and holistic approach to the children and their families.

The YOU Foundation currently provides high quality and dynamic youth services for 11-25 year olds in Staple Hill and surrounding areas of Bristol, UK. These include junior and senior youth clubs, detached and outreach work, professional recording facilities, educational trips and residentials, and much much more!

The church holds regular worship services which are open to all members of the community, in accordance with the objects of the church which are, the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide and the relief of poverty.

To be a strong and lively Church where the gifts, talents and abilities of each person can be discovered and fulfilled, able and willing to reach out and meet the needs of the community, with the intention of bringing them to a commitment to Jesus Christ and then leading them on into a productive Christian life.

MV Community Centre provides a range of activities/events to improve the well being of all local residents and provide facilities in an area with none. Events include community fairs ,dog shows, retirement & youth clubs and for use by local groups. Major refurbishment of the existing building in 2018. Construction underway of a second larger building for use as a sports/activity hall due 9/22.
