Friends of Eastville Park provides a community hub in Eastville Park. We use the hub to promote community cohesion, reduce isolation, promote volunteering in the park and to provide both people and money to improve park facilities

Support people to withdraw safely from prescription drug dependence of benzodiazepines (tranquillisers), Z drugs, pain killers and other similar drugs, prescribed or bought illicitly, through a wrap-around service of one to one therapy, group therapy, advocacy, a telephone support service, knowledge sharing with health professionals.

WE PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OR OTHER MEDICAL AIDS FOR THE HOSPITAL. WE RUN A COFFEE SHOP AND A TROLLY SERVICE IN THE OUTPATIENTS DEPT.

THE OBJECT OF THE CIO THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST DISABLED PEOPLE WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED AND WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED BY PROVIDING THEM WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRAIN AND BECOME EMPLOYED, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.

Bristol Future Talent Partnership exists to address racial inequality and systemic barriers through bespoke opportunities for young people from Black and Asian backgrounds in Bristol.We collaborate with a network of leading organisations committed to making a difference. Our aim is to make Bristol a fairer and equal place to work, study, and live.

We raise money for the" Wings Appeal "which helps the RAF family ,Veterans and their dependants.Our facilities allow veterans to meet is a safe place and meet up with other veterans.We provide monthly Veteran lunches on the Thrid Wednesday of every month.

The aim of the network is to promote the interests of clinical virology, and its medical and laboratory practise in the United Kingdom and Ireland.The Network provides evidence -based and practical virological advice to Government , Chief Medical Officers, the National Health Service and Public Health England on all aspects of viral diseases.

The main purposes of the CIO are: the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith, primarily, but not exclusively, within Bristol; and such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith

The club organises fund raising events to generate finances to support charities and participates in charitable activities.

Club facilities given free of charge to aid charity events. This could be equivalent to a saving of £130 the usual charge for hall hire & bar staff. Our premises are used free of charge by The Bristol (Stockwood area) Stroke Club. Also the premises have been offered free of charge to Bristol Children's Hospital for disabled children during school holidays.

The Friends of the Royal West of England Academy (the RWA) exist to support and promote the work of another charity, the RWA itself. They do so by providing funds, by arranging annual series of lectures and study visits, by organising volunteer helpers and by staging an annual art exhibition.

Maybe provides mental health support for members of the public who are experiencing mental health needs not met by statutory services and unable to access therapy due to sufficient financial means.

It is the trustees' policy to give priority to appeals from charitable organisations based within a radius of 25 miles of the centre of Bristol in the following spheres:- Assistance to the disabled, with the priority being disabled children;- Assistance to those suffering from illness or disease; and- Medical research and welfare in the above areas.
