CIRCLES SOUTH WEST IS A COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMME WHICH WORKS CLOSELY WITH STATUTORY SERVICES, HELPING KNOWN SEX OFFENDERS LIVE OFFENCE-FREE LIVES.

Since 1981 Mothers for Mothers has supported families affected by perinatal mental illness, offering support to women and birthing people during pregnancy and until their youngest child attends school through our support services, across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

As a specialist rural organisation we work with communities, businesses, social enterprises, groups and individuals to support and encourage community-led action. We are experienced in areas such as broadband, access to services, transport, affordable housing, fuel poverty, energy generation, village halls & community assets, health & social care, funding advice and community led planning.

We have been helping people who live with a neurological condition since 1985 providing the therapies and support our members need to maintain their independence and to minimise the effects that neurological conditions like Multiple Sclerosis have on their daily lives. We are also here for their families and carers, building a strong sense of community and understanding.

Food For All distributes around 6,000 free, nutritionally balanced meals to the homeless and disadvantaged on a daily basis. FFA targets the homeless, single parents, the elderly, the unemployed, people suffering from mental and physical disabilities and the marginalised. FFA is based on the philosophy of community self-help.

The charity promotes and protects good health, relieves sickness of people living in the Knowle West Area of Bristol and the surrounding areas, by working in partnership with the local community, health services and Bristol City Council to address health inequalities in south Bristol. It delivers accessible services aimed at improving health, and develops education and training opportunities.

The Brigstowe Project offers free confidential and independent advice and support for people affected by HIV and other long term health conditions.

Housing Matters (Bristol) provides free, independent and confidential advice to anyone in housing need. Through a combination of advice, support and advocacy we enable clients to resolve housing issues, improve housing conditions and prevent homelessness. Previously known as Churches Housing Aid Society, we have been providing this much needed service since 1965 (previous charity number 233757).

To promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with brain injury, their families and carers.Provide social and cognitive rehabilitation services at the centre(s) and through one-to-one outreach. All programmes are individually tailored and designed to maximise quality of life, independence and self-esteem.

SWCA manages the St Werburghs Community Centre and promotes the benefit and social welfare of the local people in a common effort to advance health, education and good relationships. SWCA serves the communities of Inner City wards, which have the highest percentage of BME residents in Bristol and are ranked amongst the most deprived 10% nationally in terms of multiple deprivation.

Grant-making for education and health projects to benefit children, young people and women, in the U.K, especially Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and the Bristol area, and India.

Provision of therapeutic riding lessons to around 300 disabled children and adults in one of the UK's largest equestrian centres purpose built for disabled riders. Set among 100 acres of fields and woodland, the Centre offers individual development, enabling clients to achieve skill and confidence in a safe, friendly and attractive environment.

Phoenix Social Enterprise Ltd provides employment, education and training opportunities in the UK and Europe. We also conference facilities and rented offices, focus on building the capacity of individuals and organisations underpinned by a philosophy of equality and human rights. We cater for people aged 16-65, people from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities, but not exclusively.

Immanuel Christian School in Westerleigh, South Gloucestershire is a school run on Christian principles and caters for children from 4 to 11 years of age.

Public worship open to all. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching through sermons and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Provision of children, family and youth activities with a Christian ethos. Staging of events and meetings. VCHP provide free eyecare services to homeless and other vulnerable people in UK in an accessible and friendly environment in which they feel safe, welcome and comfortable. We aim to preserve, protect and promote the ocular health of homeless and other vulnerable people in the UK and include the provision of spectacles that meets their immediate visual needs.

Acts as an umbrella organisation providing Human Resources and organisational advice and support to groups providing 'out-of-school' care for children and young people

The objective of the charity is the support of those who have recovered from a stroke, their families and carers. The main activities to achieve this objective are information, advice and emotional support to individuals, the running of weekly social groups, provision of counselling and liaising with health professionals in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas.

Work done alongside community leaders, local authorities and educationalists to rebuild positive meaning, responsibilty and self respect in young men, thereby creating a safer community.
