We provide social events for the elderly in the borough of Greenwich and surrounding boroughs which include weekly gentle exercise classes, weekly Luncheon Club, parties and outings. We also engage in community activities including putting on plays with local schools for the public and we also put on and attend culture exhibitions for Black History Month.

OUR AIM IS TO HELP THE GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO DEVELOP EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY SO THEY CAN MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE WIDER WORLD. PROGRAMMES HAVE INCLUDED LEARNING TO WORK IN GROUPS, CARE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL, CRAFT, MUSIC, OUTDOOR SKILLS AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF OUR PROMISE AND LAW. MANY CAMPS AND HOLIDAYS WERE RUN.

The preservation and conservation of the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, including the palaeontological statues, geological displays and related landscaping, for the public benefit.The advancement of education for the public benefit in the subjects of the CP Dinosaurs, palaeontology, biology, history and local or national heritage and to promote science in connection with any or all of these subjects.

We provide a weekly opportunity for amateur musicians to come together to play orchestral music in a relaxed, pleasant and inclusive atmosphere. We encourage the community including late starters, players from diverse social or ethnic backgrounds and people with disabilities. We offer rehearsal facilities, concert performances and the opportunity to mix with musicians of similar standards.

The principal activities of the charity are to educate the public and to promote the art of music, particular in Turkish classical music, and the charity also eneavours to support and promote the music to the public.

We provide skill training in health care and IT for the over 50s BME & medical advice, support and care work for the disadvantaged.

We have a social meeting every last Tuesday of the month where ex-airborne soldiers can meet and talk about old war stories. We also arrange memorial trips to Normandy and Arnhem for our ex WW2 Vets plus having a few social evenings, such as an Xmas Dance, a summer BBQ and a race night when it is possible. We also make donations to other military deserving causes.

To promote the religion of Spiritualism in West Wickham, Bromley and surrounding areas according to our SNU constitution.

To raise funds for and promote a sense of community within Worsley Bridge Primary School.

Promotion of social inclusion among over 55's excluded from society & stimulating outside activities because they are housebound or whose disabilities affect their mobility; 1. Raising money for the School

Provides facilities for the elderly and people with disabilities.

Providing an outdoor pursuits and Study Centre for use predominantly by school age children from the Orpington/Bromley/Kent areas, but more widely as availability allows. We ensure that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to this facility through our charging policy. We are also working with groups local to the Centre who are providing support in the community.

Fund raising to refurbish Cudham Parish Hall and to take over the running from Cudham Parochial Church Council. Progress made in decorating, electrical and heating upgrades.

Rescue/rehabilitate sick and injured wildlife and return them to their home territory. To respond/ take action to ensure the welfare of all animals in need brought to our attention . To accept casualities if member of the public or vet practice is able to bring them to us as we no longer have funds to replace or operate an ambulance.Tell young people & other groups how to protect wildlife.

The society arranges study courses,visits and public lectures on arts subjects; provides volunteers to museums, galleries and historic buildings in the London area and North Kent which are open to the public; encourages and financially supports arts projects in Bromley area schools and hospitals.

James Dixon Primary School PTA supports the children at the school with fundraising and grants for enrichment beyond the core primary school curriculum. We also help bring the parent and carer community together to support these activities.
