The Burnt Ash PTA exists to provide closer links between the home and the school. It is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially to raise funds for the school.The PTA has raised thousands of pounds over the years, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our childrens education and the facilities in the school in general.

The PTA/Friends of Charles Darwin School provide a service to the school by engagement and fundraising to help further the education and enhance the learning of pupils attending Charles Darwin School. The PTA/Friends exists to provide closer links between home and school bringing staff, parents, friends and the community together socially in support of our school.

Scouting activities for children.

We are a group formed to support the students, staff and activities of Bishop Justus Church of England School. We harness the skills and goodwill of parents and others who want to help the school provide a first-class education within a christian ethos.

ALEXANDRA INFANTS SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION aims to support Alexandra Infants School and advance the education of the pupils attending it, mainly by making grants and donations to the school.

The principal activities of the charity are to educate the public and to promote the art of music, particular in Turkish classical music, and the charity also eneavours to support and promote the music to the public.

We provide skill training in health care and IT for the over 50s BME & medical advice, support and care work for the disadvantaged.

We have a social meeting every last Tuesday of the month where ex-airborne soldiers can meet and talk about old war stories. We also arrange memorial trips to Normandy and Arnhem for our ex WW2 Vets plus having a few social evenings, such as an Xmas Dance, a summer BBQ and a race night when it is possible. We also make donations to other military deserving causes.

TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH IN COMMUNITY BY THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS IN HOSPITALS IN ANY PART OF WORLD, TO PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS AND ORGANISATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN ALL COMMUNITIES BY PROVISION OF BURARIES, EQUIPMENTS, BOOKS AND LITERATURE, TO ADVANCE THE HINDU RELIGION.

The society arranges study courses,visits and public lectures on arts subjects; provides volunteers to museums, galleries and historic buildings in the London area and North Kent which are open to the public; encourages and financially supports arts projects in Bromley area schools and hospitals.

Scouting for boys/girls.

Supporting local hospitals with the facilities supplied to both Child patients and their families who stay at the hospital by suppling resources to aid healing or improving facilities for those parents who stay.

The PTA hold events for the pupils, parents and families of our pupils. An example of such events is:Summer Fun Days, Christmas Fayres, pamper evenings, pupil discos, etc.

Symphony Orchestra for members of the local Orpington community and neighbouring towns

Bromley Oecumenical Singers has three concerts each year, two with the objective of donating money to other charities both local and national and the third to raise funds for the continuation of our fund raising activities. We also have two bursary funds for assisting young musicians, generally from a church background, to further their musical studies.

To advance the Islamic faith for the public benefit through Islamic education and community programmes; establishing and maintaining a Mosque, Islamic Inistitute and Muslim burial ground; and providing financial and practical burial support to members of the Muslim community to ensure funerals and burials are carried out in accordance with Islamic principles.

Amateur Operatic Society

Running fundraising events (Summer Fair, social events etc), both at Kingswood Primary School and within the local communityProviding grants to families to support inclusion of less privileged pupilsProviding additional facilities, equipment and resources to Kingswood Primary School to enhance the learning environment for all pupils.

Raising money for the School

Providing an outdoor pursuits and Study Centre for use predominantly by school age children from the Orpington/Bromley/Kent areas, but more widely as availability allows. We ensure that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to this facility through our charging policy. We are also working with groups local to the Centre who are providing support in the community.

Provides facilities for the elderly and people with disabilities.

To promote the fellowship Christian doctrine based education worldwide.To work in accordance with civil society groups to secure the incidence of poverty and disadvantaged against a background of people centred initiatived, witch demontrate the interdependence between gender,race,ethnic origins and all other form of diversity.To advance education by providing training with a view to enhancing

Rescue/rehabilitate sick and injured wildlife and return them to their home territory. To respond/ take action to ensure the welfare of all animals in need brought to our attention . To accept casualities if member of the public or vet practice is able to bring them to us as we no longer have funds to replace or operate an ambulance.Tell young people & other groups how to protect wildlife.

The Unit runs archaeological projects in Kent and S.E London on threatened sites, including watching briefs, excavations, publication and preservation. Its education work involves two major Roman monuments open to the public with activity schools workshops. The unit is managed by its committee and many volunteers.
