The Great Missenden Memorial Centre (GMMC) is a memorial to the men and women of the parish who have died in war. We run the day to day operation of GMMC as a recreational facility for the inhabitants of Great Missenden and the surrounding area. In addition we are responsible for the internal upgrading and refurbishment of the centre.

The principal objective of Aims2Cure is to promote medical research into the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis; to disseminate the useful results of such research and to relieve persons suffering from multiple sclerosis and associated diseases.

Provision of Scouting Activities for boys and girls

Supports the growth of bible based churches in the South Central area of England through the encouragement of pastors, support for church plants, conferences and training of new bible teachers.

Provision of Almshouse accommodation for needy elderly residents of Newport Pagnell

Supporting families affected by Sickle cell in the Thames Valley area and raising awareness of Sickle Cell through our fundraising and awareness events.

Another successful year as we re-build our repertoire and bring new members up to speed. In September we joined another chorus and a quartet on stage to entertain a sell-out audience. Shortly afterwards we hosted a Time to Harmonise course introducing a number of people to the enjoyment and benefits of singing in four-part close harmony. Some have auditioned and joined the chorus.

Fundraising activities to help provide children at Longwick C of E Combined School with additional facilities, activities and opportunities. Activities include annual Art Show, Cake Sales, School Discos and a Christmas Bazaar.

Choral Society of about 90 full time members performing 2 concerts a year with professional soloists and orchestra.

Provide four almshouses for poor elderly people in Wing

The BRSA is a parent teacher association that organises a series of events each year to raise money to provide additional funding for Bledlow Ridge School to purchase essential school items (PCs, whiteboards, library books etc). Events include the annual summer fete, Xmas Fayre, hot dog days, Ridge Off Roader etc.

To provide information, help, support and counselling to young people (aged 13 to 25 years) in the Wycombe District.

The hall provides facilities for a variety of village organisations and events such as Scouts, Horticultural Society, Karate and private functions such as parties and fundraising evenings.

Rescue and treatment of sick and injured swans. Release back to the wild wherever possible.Education of the public as to pollutants and problems with litter. Training emergency services in swan handling.

Various fund raising events organised to raise funds for the school:- Including Spring and Summer Fayres, Quiz and Curry Night, Bingo Night, Ball.

We organise various fundraising events, rent out halls for dance classes, badminton, keep fit, art. Organise childrens parties, make donations to all local childrens clubs and old folk charities.and local schools.

Iver Heath village hall is a community hall used for social and educational purposes. We have many local hirers and aim to serve the community by providing a venue for these activities.

Build on Books reduces poverty in Sierra Leone by building a strong foundation for development based on education, disease prevention, and food security. We provide books, water, sanitation, farms, school buildings, school furniture, science labs, healthcare, training programs and humanitarian aid to help build vibrant schools and communities where all children can realise their full potential.

Raise money to supplement school resources

In accordance with the terms of the Trust , the available income is to be utilised maintain and repair twelve properties (Almshouses) in Whielden Green Amersham, which continues to be used for the charitable purpose.The Trustees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.
