The Clifford Howarth Charity Trust being a very small charity is only able to consider a small number of projects. Projects supported are community development primarily local based.

Fundraising

The Wendover Community Car provides a voluntary door-to-door service for residents of Wendover and surrounding villages who have difficulty in travelling to enjoy the freedom of movement that others take for granted.

The aim of East Side Youth Centre (ESYC) is the "provision of a community youth centre to help and educate young people and children through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society."

The policy of the trust is to support, mainly on a continuing basis, charitable causes of which the trustees have a special knowledge of interest. Donations are usually confined to UK charities. It is not at present policy of the trust to make grants to individuals.Geographically we focus on Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

We manage a local community centre which is used for both regular local users such as a pre-school, church and youth groups and for private functions. We manage it on behalf of Milton Keynes Council who own the building and the land on which it is built.

We are a parent-teacher association so we raise money for Stone School which is used in a variety of pupil activites etc.

The activities of the Charity are those which:-Extend relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.Support the school and advance the education of the pupil's attending it.Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided from statutory funds).

The Charity is actively engaged in raising funds for the purpose of building,establishing and running a fully functional primary care hospital for the the poor and needy in a rural area of Northern Pakistan. The hospital will include child and maternity, a minor injury clinic and a GP led clinic.Other facilities will include Xray, a pathology lab and outpatient rooms for visiting specialists.

The Friends is a non religious organisation established to support fundraising for the maintenance and development of the church fabric including the churchyard

For people in need who dwell in the parish of Burnham, referred to us by Social Services. Citizens Advice Bureau, Burnham Health Centre, Schools, etc. We provide furniture, white goods, school uniforms, school trip funding, carer's holidays etc. We support the Burnham Lighthouse Project and Thames Hospice Care. We distribute about 300 christmas parcels at about £20 each.

Bucks Uniformed Youth is an umbrella Charitable Incorporated Organisation with 19 voluntary member youth organisations operating in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. It collectively currently has over 13, 975 young people and 3,391 adults in its membership. By working together as part of Bucks Uniformed Youth its member organisations can achieve much more than they would independently.

Friends of Swanbourne House raises funds to enhance the education of pupils at Swanbourne House. The charity also organises events to improve relationships between the parents, staff and pupils at the school.

The objects of the band are to advance the education of the public in the art and science of music by the provision of public concerts and recitals, and by the provision of training in the playing of wind instruments.

We promote 5 concerts a year where professional musicians play classical music to paying audiences. The average age of our members and others who attend from time to time is 70 plus. Many suffer from mobility problems and would not be able to go to London to enjoy the kind of music and social ambience we provide. 0ur aim is to attract people of all ages and entrance is free to the under 18s.

The Jordans School Association aims to raise monies through fund-raising activities to provide equipment and services for the education and advancement of pupils of Jordans School.

THE LEE OLD CHURCH TRUST WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1982 TO RESTORE AND MAINTAIN THE 13TH CENTURY CHURCH FROM WHICH IT TAKES ITS NAME. THE OLD CHURCH IS NOW WELL MAINTAINED AND IS USED FOR OCCASIONAL CHURCH SERVICES, INCLUDING HOLY COMMUNION, SUNDAY SCHOOL, RECITALS, TALKS, AND SUMMERTIME CREAM TEAS.
