Village Hall

To advance the education of pupils at Whaddon School in particular by:1) developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school;2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils (not normally provided by the local education authority).

We promote 5 concerts a year where professional musicians play classical music to paying audiences. The average age of our members and others who attend from time to time is 70 plus. Many suffer from mobility problems and would not be able to go to London to enjoy the kind of music and social ambience we provide. 0ur aim is to attract people of all ages and entrance is free to the under 18s.

This Charity makes grants to individuals/groups who are resident in the Parish of Wolverton

MISW is for the public benefit, the preservation & protection of good health among men in Winslow & surrounding areas, including those who are retired, unemployed or have health problems, through the provision of facilities for hobbies, recreation or other leisure time activities including practical interests, skills sharing, learning new skills & helping with community based projects.

Furtherance of public interest and participation in singing. Running of 'Learn to Sing' type courses, singing workshops and performances to help other charities to raise funds, including: The Oxfordshire Association For The Blind, The Prostate Cancer Charity, The Oxford Story Museum and The Movember Foundation.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for participation in cheerleading, dance and tumbling

To further education by the promotion of the study of gardens,parks and designed landscape of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

Management of village hall.

Supporting the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfilment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programmes. Focus on the specific needs of the local community through charities and organisations.

Fund raising for the School and school children.

The Advancement of the education, social and apiritual development of the pupils, present and future of Our Lady's Roman Catholic School, Chesham Bois, Amersham, either directly or indirectly (such as the provision of funds for building work, equipment, books, facilities, staffing and excursions.)

Maintain Ickford Village Hall for use as an amenity for the village. The Hall was built by villagers in 1950 and as a committee we aim to look after it as part of our village heritage. Running costs are covered by rental, but all maintenance and improvements are covered by fund raising, grants and donations.

TO RAISE MONEY THROUGH VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES TO FUND FURTHER RESOURCES AND ACTIVITES FOR THE CHILDREN OF GREAT HORWOOD C/E SCHOOL, NOT PROVIDED THROUGH THE USUAL FUNDING.

We provide activities for disabled people. We currently run two football teams in the BOBi league. We also run regular pool tournaments and (weather permitting) have water sports days.

Supporting young people from less well off backgrounds to join in extra curricular activities and trips. Sponsoring prize giving celebrations and purchasing merit items. . Providing equipment for young people, over and above what would normally be purchased through the main school budget.Gifts for volunteers and staff who perform voluntary services for the pupils (i.e. placement students)
