Voluntary School Fund

This trust was formed in Jan 2006 to renovate the Leckhampstead Village Hall, which had fallen into serious disrepair. The outside structure was restored in Autumn 2006 and the work on the inside was completed in March 2008. The trust now runs the hall for the public good. The Trust deed states that the object of the Trust is to improve the condition of life of the inhabitants of Leckhampstead.

Isssues grants to organisations within the parish

Inspire has two key objectives:1) To INSPIRE young people to maximise their potential in order to produce ?work-ready? young people through work related challenges and events, designed in partnership with business.2) To SUPPORT students in financial need to be able to undertake and complete their studies, through fundraising and business sponsorship.

To assist the District Church Council of St Mary's, in the fulfilment of its responsibilities and in particular in the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement and beautification of the Parish Church of St. Mary and All Saints, Beaconsfield, and of the monuments, fixtures and fittings, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the church and the churchyard.

Provides transport and assistance for residents of Haddenham who are elderly or disabled.

Makes a grant of all income to pre-defined charities in the ancient parish of Great Missenden.

Raising money for the maintenance and repair of Turweston church

We hold various fundraising events at the school including; Cake sales , Cinema nights, Easter egg shop, Leavers' disco, Christmas and May Fairs among other things. This is to raise money for our school to offer resources and activities that enhance the educational experience of the children.

Provides funding to the Marsh Gibbon Churches; to the poor of the Parish of Marsh Gibbon, and for recreational activities in the village of Marsh Gibbon

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the residents of the Parish of Ashendon and beyond without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(1) meetings, lectures and classes, and(2) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitant

Read Easy Chilterns provides a volunteer-led reading coaching programme for adults in the Chilterns. The support we provide is free - our trained Reading Coaches and Management Teams volunteer their time to provide confidential and one-to-one coaching, given in a private space within a public place. Our group is legally and financially independent - resources and training are funded by donations.

1) To provide comfort and treats for children living in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex with terminal brain tumors. 2) To provide support to families with children suffering from terminal brain tumors.3) To raise funds for the above purposes and defray such reasonable expenses as may arise and be approved by the Committee.

Promotion and supply of Public Access Defibrillators within the rural areas of Buckinghamshire. Activities include fund raising; Awareness and Confidence training as well as installing and maintaining equipment. All activities have the prime aim of saving lives.
