Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church is a group of Christians committed to serving God in the local community by helping to address spiritual, social and practical needs. The church is independently governed by its own church officers and income is largely from gifts. Activities include Sunday Services, Prayer Meeting/Bible study, Children's Club, Toddlers' Group, fellowship events and schools work.

Disability Can Do works with, and supports disabled adults and carers to break down the barriers, big and small, that restrict their life choices and opportunities.We place their needs at the centre of our services and empower people by providing information, advice and support that enables them to make informed decisions and choices in their lives and improves their overall well-being.

Provide central focus for pan-Indian cultural promotion and promoting values amongst the Indian and indigenous population with view to improving relationship and understanding, thereby reducing inequality, discrimination and disadvantage.

The Children's Space enhances the development and education of children from the ages of 2 years up to and including 12 yeas old in the New Tredegar Area by offering appropriate play, education and care facilities for children in particular by providing full day care and out of school care for children in a safe caring environment.

Providing educational, cultural and recreational opportunities by hosting clubs and classes, as well as a varied calendar of professional, community and amateur entertainment throughout the year. Primarily strengthening ties with inhabitants of Bedwas, Trethomas, Machen, Graig y Rhacca, and the wider Caerphilly Basin, enabling the facilities to be accessible and inclusive to all.

Provide Islamic library facilities open daily containing books & journals on Islam & other faiths, open to all. Islamic lectures, seminars and educational classes led by qualified teachers. Organise youth sports activities for community and social cohesion such as cricket, football & badminton. To promote humane behaviour towards cats and kittens by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for such animals. To advance the education of the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering. Operasonic creates opera projects and performances with and for young people that are led by professional artists. Participation is at the heart of our practice, and we create new opera in collaboration with our young participants, based on their stories and creativity. Operasonic is based in Newport, South Wales.

HELPING HANDS IS AN INDEPENDENT, NON PROFIT ORGANISATION WHICH EXISTS TO FULFIL AND EXCEED THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE SERIOUSLY ILL RESIDENTS OF THE UPPER RHYMNEY VALLEY BY PROVIDING THE NECESSARY SUPPORT, SERVICES AND FREE LOAN MEDICAL AIDS

Our aim is to provide quality pre-school provision for children aged 2-4 years through the medium of Welsh Language and some English (so we can meet all individual needs of the children), in a happy and secure environment, having fun, meeting new friends and learning through play. We will also create an environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Society Objectives:-1. To promote animals and plants of the countryside, objects of geological, historical and archaeological interest.2. To promote the formation of Nature Reserves and to assist in their supervision.3. To foster interest in Nature Conservation through public meetings, film shows, exhibitions, publication of books, our Annual Newsletter, leaflets and general communication.

Providing Christian homes for people in need or those through social disadvantage have become homeless. Victory Outreach runs supported housing which includes a holistic approach to rehabilitation , health and well-being .

Cylch Meithrin Nelson provide pre-school early years education through the medium of Welsh to children aged 2 - 4 years. Funding is through fees paid by the parents, which helps to cover the wages of the staff. The Meithrin also benefits from grants provided by the local authority and also fundraising through various means.

Advancement of the Christian faith

To assist the education and advancement of the children of distressed or deceased Freemasons in the province; to assist widows of such Freemasons; to assist old, infirm and distressed Freemasons; to subscribe to recognised Masonic charitable organisations; to donate to non Masonic charities.

21 Plus is a charity which supports, nurtures and empowers children and young people with Downs Syndrome and their families.Our activities focus on building the communication skills of our children and young people, providing opportunities to develop friendships and independence and ensuring that families have the necessary information and support to ensure their child reaches their potential.
