To establish and maintain a museum in Heptonstall for the benefit of the public.

CICS is an ecumenical christian charity. It provides workers who offer help to schools in delivering assemblies, RE lessons etc, and who also support lunchtime Christian activities.CICS provides managerial support, training and resources for the workers, and encourages greater concern by Christians in their local schools, building up a pool of volunteers.

We are a member Group of the Scout Association for young people between the ages of 6 & 14 years in the local area. Our aim is the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals and as responsible citizens, as members of their local, national and international communities. We use in and out door activities to achieve this

A Christian organisation to support outreach to the Calderdale community. The principal activity is a Food Bank offering parcels of essential food, toiletries and bedding to clients in serious financial stress. We also run a homeless Winter Shelter during the coldest months of the year. This help is open to all without discrimination provided evidence of need is given.

Mothershare works on a referral basis to provide/loan essential items to families and children from pre-birth to late teens. Our referrals come from local statutory agencies. We provide our service throughout Calderdale, have one paid member of staff and a team of valued volunteers. Through Back Pack Buddies we provide weekend food parcels to children identified as at risk of food poverty.

The Wharfedale foundation is a grant awarding trust which was established in March 2009.

ARTS for BRIGHOUSE is a charity aiming to promote public appreciation of the arts to the residents & visitors of Brighouse, West Yorkshire on a not-for-profit basis. Our charity's objectives are unique in the catchment area; developing and providing opportunities, residencies, volunteer roles and paid performances to artists in all aspects of the performing and visual arts

The Band and Ensemble groups provide music for various events, inc.charity/community/church/private. The band owns some instruments providing opportunity for education and training within the local community.

Todmorden Orchestra promotes and performs music of an educational and enjoyable nature.

The advancement of public education in the construction of models, of engineering models in particular, through provision of talks, demonstrations and facilities for runnings engineering models.

To administer the scouting rules and offer local children "scouting" opportunities.

Wadsworth Community Association aims to maintain and develop a well-run, friendly centre in the heart of the parish of Wadsworth that understands and reacts to the community?s needs.Our activities include hosting our local Lunch Club, Table Tennis Club and Bowling Club. We have close links with our local school, their Parent Teachers Association, the local Environmental group and the Bee group.

The Church provides religious services for public worship, including the dissemination of Spiritualist teaching and philosophy,together with special services throughout the year, along with events and functions.

The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and thosewho are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conduciveto learning and personal development.

Our mission is to help young people make positive choices in their lives by improving their health, social wellbeing and employability. We provide accessible and engaging sports, physical activities and holistic wellbeing programs to children aged 6-16 years old. We also provide opportunities for young people aged 16-24 years old to gain qualifications and move into sustainable employment.

The object of the Charity is to support and further all or any charitable purposes carried out in connection with that part of the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Diocese of Wakefield which relates to social and moral welfare.

Outside The Box develop participatory and well-being activities with, by and for people in West Yorkshire, particularly for young people with learning differences and/or neuro-diversities such as autism.

Provision of welfare services including activities and events, information, advice and support to carers and former carers and the cared for within the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale.

Holding of various events to raise funds to help needy children, locally at home, and abroad.

The Trustees have determined that their priorities for funding; The Dennis Mason-Jones Award, The Bedford Scholarship and Academic Awards (tertiary & secondary education). There remain funds available for grants and support to be dispersed as the Society sees fit and subject to satisfying the objects of the society in the areas of Social and Education support of Architectural and urban design.

We offer children between 6 and 14 from the community of Hove Edge the opportunity to reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

LEEDS BAROQUE PERFORMS MUSIC OF THE BAROQUE ERA USING PERIOD INSTRUMENTS AND HISTORICAL PERFORMING PRACTICES. IT SEEKS TO BALANCE ITS PROGRAMMING BETWEEN WELL KNOWN WORKS (ESPECIALLY THE WORKS OF PURCELL, HANDEL AND BACH) AND THOSE THAT ARE RARELY PERFORMED, OR NEWLY EDITED BY LEADING SCHOLARS OR BY RESEARCH STUDENTS.
