The objects of the Rotary Club of Calverley Charitable Trust Fund are:The prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit;The advancement of education, citizenship and community development;The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health or disability_the objects will principally be for the public benefit in West Yorkshire but may extend worldwide according to need

Calderdale Deaf Association aims to support and encourage Deaf people resident in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale and create an environment in which they are able to fully take part in the wider community. Members meet on a weekly basis in rented premises in Halifax town centre which is also used as a "drop-in" information centre.

MEETINGS, LECTURES & DISCUSSIONS. WE HELP WITH LOCAL NEEDS, BOTH FINANCIALY AND WITH PERSONAL TIME AND EFFORT.

Once again our main income has come from our Bazaar. Our PTA is desperately trying to raise money for a new resources in school and are holding various fundraisers. The PTA is a very active PTA and impacts well on the school's successes. We have evidence of children whose parents are involved in the PTA are achieving better at school than children whose parents are not.

The PTFA is here for you - the parents, guardians, friends and teachers of all the children who attend St Mary?s School. Our main aim is to raise funds to purchase items that would otherwise fall outside the school's budget. We also provide an informal social network for parents.

St Johns Home & School Association is generally run by Parents and carers of Children within school.It arranges various fund raising activities throughout the year to help raise extra funds to buy materials and equipment for use of the whole school comunity.

Grants are made for the general benefit of the inhabitants and communities of Warley, Halifax and District (including Mount Tabor and Wainstalls)

We raise money for the benefit of the children of Copley School to provide them with things that the school budget can not provide. We raise money via a wide range of fundraising events.

vOLUNTARY AIDED CHURCH INFANT SCHOOL - ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FUNDRAISING

LEAP enables students [14 to 19] to set up their own companies for a year, learning business skills, teamwork and problem solving. The programme helps them gain confidence and skills, which helps them with interviews for jobs and/or University. LEAP is run by volunteers from schools and local businesses.

We provide access to football opportunities for young people aged 5 - 18. This includes playing football, refereeing and coaching.

The Halifax WI holds monthly meetings at the Maurice Jagger Centre (Halifax), where members and visitors can hear a wide range of speakers from varying backgrounds, and participate in various activities. In addition WI members can join a number of groups and visits to organisations. Members also support fund raising activities that support named local charities and the members.

We are a Primary School in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Our activities for which the School Fund is used are educational visits for every child in school. Christmas activities for the children are paid for and extras for the classroom.

THE PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND HARDSHIP AND IN PARTICULAR THE RELIEF OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND THE VULNERABLE. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE PAYMENT OF DONATIONS TO THOSE CONSIDERED WORTHY.

YSES gives grants to young people mainly from Yorkshire to enable them to experience expeditions. Where expeditions have an adventure, education and community focus.

School Parents and Teachers Association raising funds to provide equipment, materials and also educational experiences to advance the education to the children attending Holywell Green Primary School.

To promote the efficiency of the regiment and maintain its traditions and Esprit de Corps, in particular, but not exclusively, by publishing a journal of the regiment or it's battalions.

Give grants for educational purposes to anyone who resides in the Northowram area of Halifax, who is under 25 years of age.
