Ladybird Playgroup is a playgroup, running on the same site as Thriplow Primary School. It takes children from 2.5 years, operating 5 days a week, term-time only.

THE CHARITY RUNS A PRE-SCHOOL. THE PRINCIPAL AIM OF MOTHER GOOSE IS TO HELP CHILDREN LEARN THROUGH PLAY. THE PRE-SCHOOL OPERATES FOR 24 AND A QUARTER HOURS A WEEK DURING TERM TIME AND IS SUBJECT TO OFSTED INSPECTIONS. THE TRUSTEES EMPLOY SUITABLY QUALIFIED STAFF TO RUN THE SCHOOL SUPPORTED BY A COMMITTEE DRAWN FROM THE PARENTS OF CHILDREN ATTENDING THE SCHOOL AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS.

To further education and development of the construction industry in Cambridge, by: advancing education, learning and understanding; awarding of grants, bursaries, scholarships, provision of other financial assistance; and for the public benefit, particularly but not exclusively in the area of the city of Cambridge to promote and support high standards in planning, design and architecture

Cambridge Muslim Welfare Society was formed with the purpose of providing a place of worship for Muslims in Cambridge, to provide a platform for interfaith dialogue and congruence; and to provide support to the Muslims as a community in Cambridge.

The RSPCA Cambridgeshire and Mid-East is a separately registered charity although we are supported by and work in partnership with the RSPCA National Society. We are primarily self-funding and the money we spend in our area is raised in our area on supporting animal welfare . Income is also generated by our charity shops in March.

Huntingdonshire Volunteer Centre (HVC) aims to promote and develop volunteering across Huntingdonshire. It operates from bases in each of the four main towns, providing some services directly (e.g. Social Car Scheme, Gardening service) and others by putting volunteers in touch with other charities. It works to develop and market volunteering opportunities and good practice.
