The Turtle Dove is a homing migratory dove kept in captive pairs, very prolific breeders and after laying two eggs, will lay again. The young are fostered by other tamer doves, and the young are released into the wild in late summer. They spend a month in specially constructed release pens, in order to familiarise them with natural food and their wild habitat. They will return every year.

City of Cambridge Symphony Orchestra has around 60 playing members; holds rehearsals; performs six public concerts in West Road Concert Hall Cambridge in a normal season; publishes programmes and publicity materials in the Cambridge area and online. Young soloists are engaged for most of the concerts, and a young conductor's competition has recently been held.

To administer, foster, encourage, extend and control the playing of rugby union football for the moral, mental and physical development of students and others at the University and Colleges of the University of Cambridge. CURFU organises leagues and cup competitions, training and courses for referees and coaching.

The Society aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects. The activities to support the above are the presentation of public performances.

We support Christians local to Northstowe, from our Partner Denominations, in their faith development, worship, mission and vocations. Local residents are welcome and invited to join public worship, mark civic events (e.g. Remembrance) and Life Events (births, deaths, marriages), share in community and interfaith activities, take part in activities with a Christian ethos, and receive pastoral care

The property consists of four units of accommodation each containing kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, lounge and hallway. At the rear of the property there is an area of land divided into 18 allotments which are let to local residents. Those living in the property are all over the age of 50 and in the main are locally born people.

Organising and financing an annual summer day trip, social outings and a Christmas lunch for the senior citizens of the Newmarket area. Provision of donations to other charities and causes with charitable aims.

To provide and maintain a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Alconbury and Alconbury Weston. It is available for hire to local community user groups on a regular basis, and for hire to private and commercial users. The Hall is a large modern building suitable for a wide range of uses from small theatrical productions to wedding receptions.

To advance the education of children and adults resident within Duxford and surrounding districts in Music, Drama, Poetry and related Arts, by means of:- Running workshops- The presentation of concerts and other events- The provision of musical instruments, tuition and ensemble music making where the school system is unable to make such provision, and to complement such provision as is made.

Maintaining the faith, traditions and doctrines of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox church. and performing all the religious rites and sacraments for all of its members in accordance with the ancient Syrian Orthodox tradition as followed by the Syrian Orthodox Church in India;organising and conducting Sunday School, prayer meetings, retreats, youth association and Vanitha Samajam.

The relief of financial need, loneliness and isolation amongst retired former employees, their spouses, widows, widowers and dependants, where retired former employees has worked in the Philips/Pye Group of companies or other companies in the Electronics Industry in East Anglia, in particular by the provision of financial assistance, goods, services and recreational facilities

The administration and management of the land and buildings constituting the eight Fulbourn Almshouses in Church Lane, Fulbourn, Cambs.

The objects of the charity are to advance such charitable purposes as the Trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to the relief of poverty of those living in East Anglia.
