Our mission is to empower young people to fulfil their potential and take action on issues affecting their future. Our major focus is improving the livelihoods of young people both in the developed and developing world through employability and entrepreneurial trainings. We are currently working with disadvantaged young women in West Africa and in primary and secondary schools in the UK.

Within the school and wider community, we organise and deliver fundraising events. We raise money for a variety of equipment and activities for the benefit of all children attending Highfield School, which the school is unable to purchase from statutory funds. We support the development of new opportunities, including work experience and enterprising activities.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage children from 6 to 14 years to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 1st Whittlesford & Duxford Scout Group gives young people of Whittlesford, Duxford, Ickleton, Hinxton and Thriplow villages in Cambridgeshire the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The Charity aims to raise funds throughout the year to financially assist the school and its pupils with any additional educational needs or equipment. This is done through the running of two fetes (summer and Christmas) and various events through the school year such as discos, movie nights etc. We operate within Coates Primary School,

Provision of recreational facilities to the village of Foxton.

Our policy is to give grants to students entering further education for up to four years and one off grants for tools and other equipment to those starting apprenticeships or work training on the job. The area we cover is the ancient parishes of Elm, Emneth and Friday Bridge with Coldham. The charity only gives grants up to the age of twenty five.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF INDIAN ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH

The object of the charity is to maintain the village hall for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Linton and the surrounding area. The management committee aims to provide first class facilities at an affordable cost to voluntary organisations serving the community.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF, INCLUDING PROVISION OF HOUSING, GOODS, SERVICES, FACILITIES OR GRANTS OF MONEY, TO PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF HINXTON WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. TO BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF HINXTON BY PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR RECREATION.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision, maintenance and improvement of facilities for but not limited to cricket, tennis, hockey and squash for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bishop Stortford and the surrounding area.

Provides facilities for the residents of Little Stukeley for private and public functions. The Hall is rented by various clubs and individuals, and a day nursery is licenced to use the Hall on weekdays.

To operate a village hall (known as 'The Eastrea Centre') for the village of Eastrea and the neighbourhood, without distinction of gender or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation, and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Religious and Rental of Church House

Three main choral concerts throughout the year. An open Come-and-Sing day once every other year.Entertainment for residents of retirement and nursing homes involving a small group from main choir. Involvement of local youth choirs in one of the main concerts. Fund raising for third-party charity organizations at one of the main concerts. Involvement in local community events when required.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in Ely and surrounding area by the provision of facilities for participation in roller skating.

Provides grants for educational purposes for residents of Burwell, Cambridgeshire. Grants are paid from land rental monies.

Financial support for undergraduate or postgraduate members of Corpus Christi College who are studying or researching law or those who intend to study or research law at the College.

Fundraising for the Spinney Primary School.

We fund memorable days and short respite breaks and provide financial support for those affected by cancer living in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

Provide support to Thriplow Primary School

To provide relief of such poor and distressed Masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or to or for the benefit of such Masonic charities or other charitable institutions, societies and objects as they shall decide.

Preserving the history of March & District in the form of artefacts, photographs and documents. Making this information available to the general public during our regular opening times, via the Internet, mail or telephone, by specially arranged group visits from schools and other groups and by outreach. We also engage academically and socially with other local groups.

Creating spaces in East Anglia where people can access support and resources that enable human and planetary evolution on multiple levels, including spiritual, social, ecological and economic. Drawing on diverse traditions and practices, exploring questions of meaning and purpose, and collaborating together in order to renew community and contribute to a more beautiful and regenerative society.
