THE CHARITIES MAIN AIM IS TO PROVIDE THE BEST FACILITIES POSSIBLE FOR EDUCATIONAL, SPORTING & RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN THE VILLAGE. ADDITIONALLY SUPPORTING GROUPS DEALING WITH THE ELDERLY & YOUNG PEOPLE WELCOMING INTEREST FROM ALL OTHER LOCAL GROUPS.

Provision of a village hall with catering facilities for both village use and for external meetings and events. The hall is used by many disparate groups including both recreational and professional activities. It is also used by the District Council as a polling station.

Income is from fund-raising events either on our own or in conjunction with other charities/non-charities. Examples of the events are Speaker Dinners, Raft races on the River Ouse, Charity Golf Days and Cycle Challenges.We try to get to know a charity before providing funds by asking the charity to provide a speaker and tell about the charity. Mainly providing support for local 'organisations'

The preservation repair maintenance improvement upkeep and reconstruction of Churches in the County of Cambridge and or monuments fittings fixtures stained glass furniture ornamments and chattels in such Churches. The Trust's predominant activity is the award of loans and grants to churches to assist with the cost of works falling within the foregoing description.

A community garden that focuses on organic principles while providing workshops and events to further practical learning opportunities and developing gardening skills.

To relieve in case of need, hardship or disability people who are resident in north eastern cambridgeshire. To further the education of children & adults in this area other charitable purposes as the trustees shall think fit.

To support and assist the Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) to ensure that the Church of Saint John the Baptist, Church End, Parson Drove, Cambridgeshire including its churchyard (the Church) is a well-maintained and safe public site which can enhance the quality of life for local people by improving their physical and mental health and act as a focus for bringing people together.

Supporting Target and Match Rifle shooting for members of Cambridge University.

The club builds model railways, largely for display purposes. Its layouts are available for charities to raise funds. Layout building enables skill transfer for the many aspects of model making, including woodwork, electric circuitry, analogue and digital propulsion control, detailed model and scenic construction. Heritage displays are mounted as well as regular contributions to major exhibitions.

Our mission is to empower young people to fulfil their potential and take action on issues affecting their future. Our major focus is improving the livelihoods of young people both in the developed and developing world through employability and entrepreneurial trainings. We are currently working with disadvantaged young women in West Africa and in primary and secondary schools in the UK.

To provide and maintain premises for Christian worship and associated activities. Christian teaching nurture and any actiivities compatible with the foregoing objectives

To raise funds to pay for school improvement and children enrichment activities. Including provision of improved IT and playground facilities and to fund enhanced enrichment activities not covered by the national priorities.

The Parent Teacher Guild serves the School and raises funds to both donate to local charitable/good causes and to donate to the School to provide additional funds for development projects and equipment. The fundraising is predominately through social functions at the School.

KJV Community Children's Choir is a non-auditioned, Saturday community choir for 120 Cambridge children aged 6-18. It's free for primary-aged children with a small charge for secondary children. Most of the children come from state schools. The choir has a conductor, an accompanist, an assistant teacher and an administrator. We perform at at least two concerts per year in prestigious local venues.

To relieve sickness of children suffering with cancer and haematological conditions in Tanzania by: assisting with the provision of standardised curative and palliative care services working within the National health framework in Tanzania; providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities, services and training, both medical and psycho-social.

The object of the charity is to maintain the village hall for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Linton and the surrounding area. The management committee aims to provide first class facilities at an affordable cost to voluntary organisations serving the community.

The charity continues to further the advancement of the Christian gospel in Cambridge and elsewhere. The current sole activity is the making of grants. During 2012/13 the Charity identified an area of support and gave a grant to Holy Trinity, Cambridge to support the employment of student pastoral assistants.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF, INCLUDING PROVISION OF HOUSING, GOODS, SERVICES, FACILITIES OR GRANTS OF MONEY, TO PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF HINXTON WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. TO BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF HINXTON BY PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR RECREATION.

To operate a village hall (known as 'The Eastrea Centre') for the village of Eastrea and the neighbourhood, without distinction of gender or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation, and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage children from 6 to 14 years to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 1st Whittlesford & Duxford Scout Group gives young people of Whittlesford, Duxford, Ickleton, Hinxton and Thriplow villages in Cambridgeshire the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Provision of Village Hall

The object of the Charities are:The relief of persons resident in the area of benefit who are in need, hardship or distress, by making grants of money or providing or paying for goods, services or facilities or making grants to other persons or bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need.

The Trust manages The Cathodeon Centre, Linton, which is a community building. Part is leased by Cambs County Council for Library Services and a Child & Family Centre.Remainder of the Centre is used by various local groups. Building is owned by Linton Parish Council.

To provide local residents with social areas
