Running Burwell Museum of Fen Edge Village Life (including public open days)

To provide a community building to enable village functions and childrens groups to be held

The charity's objectives and principal activities are to promote Hindu religion and racial harmony for the public benefit.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of rabbits in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities in Cambridgeshire for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

Organizing Hindu religious,cultural,social activities, and undertaking projects on Health & Well Being and Welfare of Indian and wider communities such as Health Check, Diabetes, Dementia and Mental Health. Understanding of all faiths and no-faith and to participate in social cultural activities with other corporate bodies for social inclusion and economic welfare of youths and older communities.

The Society encourages an appreciation of the sciences and promotes co-operation within and between the University, the wider acedemic community, the public, industry and commerce. We promote all aspects of scientific education and the application of research. This is achieved through a programme of lectures by leading scientists and by occasional visits

The Charity arranged the replacement of a wooden 'hut' and now manages the running and development of a Community Pavilion sited on the Village Green at Swavesey Cambridge consisting of changing rooms, a kitchen and community room. These facilities are available for hire to local community groups and members of the public for appropriate activities in order to fund the upkeep of the Pavilion.

To provide first class facilities at an affordable cost to voluntary organisations serving the community & for private hire functions in the locality

To provide for The William de Yaxley Junior School aid with extra educational facilities .

CHURCH PROVIDING CHURCH SERVICES, A SUNDAY SCHOOL, A READING ROOM, AND LECTURES, ALL FOR THE PUBLIC; MAINLY SERVING THE CAMBRIDGE AREA.

The Parent Teacher Guild serves the School and raises funds to both donate to local charitable/good causes and to donate to the School to provide additional funds for development projects and equipment. The fundraising is predominately through social functions at the School.

BPEOSA funds support:-1. The International Physical Literacy Association2. The Bedford Physical Education Archive3. Projects to promote lifelong participation in physical activity.

Our Centres provide facilities where children of separated families can spend time with with one or both parents, and sometimes with members of their extended families, in a safe, friendly and neutral environment.

The Crito Project provides access to higher education to inmates serving their sentences in the East of England. We provide expert tutoring for our incarcerated students and offer a wide range & depth of modules. We are securing accreditation for our course in partnership with the University of East Anglia. People Plus are our education partners, and we currently teach exclusively at HMP Wayland.

We offer, and campaign for, the provision of free skilled breastfeeding support for every family who want it, when they need it, in the Cambridge area.

The Fen Edge Community Association runs Social, Arts, Cultural and Sporting activities for the benefit of the communities in the Fen Edge villages of Cottenham, Landbeach, Rampton, Waterbeach and Willingham.

(1) providing & maintaining a meeting room in or near the towns of St. Ives or Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire for the purpose of prayers & worship & the due performance of the rites of marriage, funerals & religious studies according to the Islamic religion.(2) teaching & educating young members of the community in the doctrines & practices of the Islamic religion.

The charity's objects are to promote the relief of persons suffering from renal disease and to educate the public in the needs of such persons by encouraging public awareness and understanding of renal diseases,treatments and research.
