The Charity aims are the relief and support of vulnerable people, including those with learning or physical disabilities or difficulties, mental health problems, or sensory impairment and those who support or care for them, living in the Counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, and to enable them to lead the lives they choose in the community.

Communities 1st develops, connects and supports local voluntary and community organisations, helping to improve the quality of peoples lives across the districts of Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties. We are home to the local Volunteer Centre, providing support and guidance for those who want to become volunteers and those who want to recruit volunteers.

Providing support for over 50's in Newmarket and surrounding area's.Newmarket Day Centre CIO was formed by the conversion of the original charity, Newmarket Day Centre (Charity No. 290989) to a CIO in April 2015. The charity acts to support the continuance and development of the voluntary and community sector in Southend-on-Sea as well as leading, on behalf of other agencies and Councils for Voluntary Services, on work of wider significance throughout Essex and beyond.

Education and Training

The provision of housing accommodation and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.

Refugee Education UK (formerly Refugee Support Network) enables young refugees and asylum seekers to have better access to education, get better outcomes from education (both academic and wellbeing), and have opportunities to use their education. We aim to achieve this through a combination of direct education support programmes, capacity building and research for structural and system changes.

To ensure individuals do not lack knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the service available to them or through an inability to express their needs effectively, and equally to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

The activities are to aid the relief of the aged and infirm generally and without prejudice to the foregoing support other charitable causes as the Trustees shall determine. The preference for funding is to assist charitable organisations in the community of Wisbech and District.

The relief of poverty, sickness and distress among people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who are suffering from social, economic and emotional distress.

On March 7th 2012, the Trust became an independent body for the receipt and management of funds, including the transfer of unrestricted reserves from the Imperial War Museum in pursuit of its objectives.

The charity promotes the permanent preservation of lines, locomotives, rolling stock, buildings and equipment of railway interest of actual or potential historic or scientific importance and educational value. These items to be exhibited to members of the public and, where possible, operated to demonstrate the working and operation of railways in general and some aspects in particular.

The Farm & Country Centre including the restored mill house provide educational opportunities in farming and the countryside. Access to the let farm will be maintained with opportunities for educational tours and farming information, supplemented by the range of farm animals kept in the paddocks and pens of the centre. The provision of farm trails and walks and their interpretation will continue.

Teaching the Bible as God's key instrument for proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord. Public worship open to all. Promotion of the gospel through evangelistic events. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Provision of Christian activities for children and young people. Provision of activities for parents and toddlers. Supporting those promoting the gospel in the UK and overseas.

FACET provides training for adults aged 16+ with any form of disability, enabling them to: - live independently - acquire new work-based skills - prepare for & move into work. We also create new enterprises to provide work experience opportunities for our students & services for the local community. We have also evolved to become a major provider in the area of health and social care services.

Cambridge Past, Present & Future works to keep Cambridge and its surroundings special by positively influencing planning developments, delivering environmental education and managing the green spaces and historic buildings in its care for the benefit of all.

The Charity owns and manages Almshouses in Isleham, Cambridgeshire

CNC aims to help older and vulnerable people maintain their independence and connections with their communities and avoid admision to hospital. We have a team of over 120 volunteers who provide direct support through our Help at Home service. Our Community Development team support local community groups who also share our aims. We also represent older people's interests wherever possible.

Any charitable purpose or purposes relating to any ward or department within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust

The Evelyn Trust has invested funds to support the relief of sickness, the preservation and protection of health for the public benefit and the promotion of medical research and education within the City of Cambridge, the University of Cambridge and the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge or otherwise in the surrounding areas.

To advance the education of students aged 7 to 19, being students who are the victims of bullying, or by reason of other emotional trauma or illness, are for the time being unable to attend mainstream school, providing them with an academic, pastoral and therapeutic educational programme in a safe learning environment.
