Adelaide Bridge Institute aims to provide a meeting / recreational place for the general public / mankind of Queen Adelaide Village and surrounding area by the provision of a well maintained and safe Village Hall.

Providing a meeting place for the elderly to meet with coffee, a lunch and activities, including additional occasional coach outings.

Cambridge Schola Foundation makes grants to organisations, including Cambridge University Schola Cantorum, in support of activities that promote choral music in Cambridge and the surrounding area.

The Wyton School Community Association is run by staff, parents and friends of Wyton on the Hill Primary School. Its purpose is to organise fundraising activities which generates funds that can be used to benefit the children who attend the school.

Provision of medical equipment to the local medical centre, and help and support with limited medical equipment as required by members of the community.LOCAL MEDICAL PRACTICE: The equipment supplied has to date been diagnostic and life support equipment allowing minor surgery not supplied by the local PCT.

To provide the facilities of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Abington Pigotts andothers in the local area

The Parish Rooms are used for church and parish purposes.

Raise funds to help carry out repairs & restoration works to St Marys Church, Ashwell, Herts.

The objective of this Charity was the provision of fuel to poor inhabitants in the form of peat. This was later taken over by the giving of coal, and now monetary grants are made each year to assist with heating bills.

Cantate was formed by Michael Kibblewhite in 1994 as a mixed voice youth choir, to provide keen young singers with high quality training in singing and performance skills. The membership of almost 180 boys and girls represent about 80 schools, colleges and universities mostly in Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. A Chamber Choir and a Parents Choir perform and support the youth choirs.

We advertise our events and fundraisers via newsletter, and have meetings. We provide a variety of events involving the school and the wider community and use ?non event? fundraising via catalogues and contributions from internet shopping. The money we raise provides visits, trips, school equipment to broaden the children?s educational experience.

Along with local authorities, voluntary and other organisations to provide facilities in the interests of sport, youth, education and leisure with the object of improving the conditions of life for the local inhabitants.
