The Charity provides a Village Hall which is the only public gathering place in the Village. The overall aim is community cohesion. The Hall is available to all villagers and is regularly used for coffee mornings, yoga for health, NCT, wakes and christening parties, bingo, harvest supper, event celebrations such as for the Coronation. Future intentions are to provide a warm hub with wifi.

Fund raising for the benefit of the school and children through a variety of events.

The objects of the Society are the promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation, appreciation and study of the finer arts and the giving of aid to the preservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public. The Committee arranges lectures and also visits to sites of artistic and historic interest.

To improve and benefit the life of inhabitants of the rural community of the Parish of Kirtling and Upend by enabling meetings, fetes, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time pursuits etc. to take place

Makes grants to organisations in which members of the Curtis family are interested.

To prevent and relieve poverty in Cambridgeshire providing food, household items, support with domestic costs for individuals in financial hardship including those facing disproportionate disadvantage either through poverty or other status. Raise awareness of the impact of emergencies on disadvantage and inequalities and serve in the spirit of Islamic principles of care, humility and compassion.

To promote and advance public education in the Science of Astronomy and the provision of facilities for active participation in astronomical observation.

Working to develop the relationship between staff and parents of Eynesbury School, and fundraising to provide additional educational resources for pupils.

CHA promotes and organises events for the advancement of Indian Culture, Dance, Music and Religions. It works with non-government, government, community groups and education institutes.It also runs elders club so as to keep them active and provides meeting place for socialising. Regular lectures and talks are arranged on topics to keep the community informed on topical issues..

To support young people (13-25 years old) with their mental health and emotional well-being. To offer accessible community-based support within the Cambridgeshire area. Support will include evidence-based practice along with a range of alternative/holistic therapies such as using Art, Mindfulness and Canine Assisted Therapy.

To promote and improve agricultural and horticulture for the public benefit within a 15 mile radius of Great Gransden Church in Huntingdonshire. The Society aims to promote agriculture and horticulture in all its branches and to encourage skill and industry in all its trades, crafts and professions connected with it

Village Hall

The Green Backyard is a vibrant community gardens open to everyone. We are passionate about health, wellbeing and sustainability. We host a market garden run by Project Abundance, we work also with individuals, site partners and groups from across Peterborough. On site we also host a refill shop, bike repair project, men's shed, children's groups and various educational workshops and activities.

Scouting Group - providing training, social development and community support for young people

To advance the Christian religion in the Parish of St Andrews, Chesterton, Cambridge, by the making of grants and repair of buildings etc.

The Trust is targeted at families of pupils of Prince William School, Oundle, who need financial support to enable their children to take part in school activities, to provide equipment to aid their study or to support out of hours school activities.

To provide a place (and equipment) for its members to interact with others while participating in group, community, or individual projects. To assist its members in maintaining or improving their health and wellbeing by making new friends and enjoying working on a range of practical projects.

Maintenance of the Church fabric, specifically, this year, modernisation of the church, including provision of toilets, construction of meeting room, repair of outer wall (damp prevention), grass cutting, hall hire and advertisements.

To advance the education of the pubic in general by providing information in all aspects of the transport heritage, vehicles and artefacts relating to bus and coach operation by the former United Counties Bus Company and other bus/coach companies in the Great Ouse Valley area.
