Fundraising activities in Guilden Morden

We provide a community library and information centre for the village of Somersham and its environs. Library users are able to access other libraries in Cambridgeshire and use our facilities in the same way as a county-run library. We have a stock of about 7,000 books for children of all ages and adults. Our library and information centre is staffed by volunteers, there are no paid staff.

Provision of a village hall for the residents of Winwick

Whittlesey District Guiding looks after the district for 1 Rainbow Units, 3 Brownie Packs, 1 Guide Company and a Ranger Unit. We share the facilities at the Joint Scout and Guide HQ : upkeep of the premises and share the running costs. This ensures the strength of Guiding in Whittlesey District.

This is a Primary School Parent- Teacher association that raises money to help support the school. Fundraising Event Including Running Summer and Christmas Fair Firework BBQ Quiz

Ely Community Lunches is set up to provide occasional meals for those isolated alone or facing financial difficulties. Primarily we provide Christmas Day lunch for people who would otherwise be on their own.

The Friends Of March Railway Station (FOMRS) is a group of community volunteers who wish to make the station a vibrant and attractive place to visit and use, both for the those using the railways and for the community.The group also sets out to preserve the heritage of March Station and the History of the Railways influence in the community.

Maintenance and upkeep of Village Hall and Sports Ground

To provide a village hall for the use of inhabitants of parish of Pidley Cum Fenton in the county of Huntingdon and Peterborough without distinction of political religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Trust is targeted at families of pupils of Prince William School, Oundle, who need financial support to enable their children to take part in school activities, to provide equipment to aid their study or to support out of hours school activities.

The object of the charity is the advancement of education for the public benefit in the area served by Rock Road Library, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) supporting and promoting library services (b) facilitating educational, cultural and community courses, events and exhibitions in both the library and its garden (c) fostering links to educational, cultural and community organisations.
