The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral exists to support the Dean & Chapter by providing grants for the maintenance and enhancement of LlandaffCathedral, its buildings, contents and surroundings, and to support its traditions of worship including its music and choirs. To do this, we collect subscriptions from our members and receive donations, bequests and legacies.

The charity operates primarily in Dinas Powys and Sully, although help in other locations can be provided. We aim to support the needy in the community and particularly those in ill health, the young, the elderly, and general community needs. We do this primarily by raising money which is then donated to charities, organisations, or individuals who match with the charity's aims for helping people.

Ice Cool Kids exists to enable children with additional needs to ski. Our aim is to allow these special youngsters to achieve and experience what would otherwise not be possible. It is a fully inclusive activity with local mainstream children and adult volunteers being encouraged to assist in ski sessions. We encourage all to work cooperatively together as part of a team.

Applying the charity's net income: a) For the upkeep and repair of the City United Reformed Church, Cardiff, and the maintenance of the service there. b) For the furthering of the religious and other charitable work of that church.

Fundraising for school resources, including charity events, Christmas fayres and art and craft sales.

Scout District in Cardiff West Offering opportunities for scouting in the area.Activities include, Camping, Abseiling, Archery, and weekly meetings at various headquarters.

To advance the education of the public in national aviation history by the establishment and maintenance of a museum

2nd Rhiwbina Scout group provides youth activities for young people, including camping and hiking. We operate from the scout hall off Lon Ucha, in Rhiwbina. We are a thriving group of 2 beaver colonies, 2 cub packs and a scout section, and offer a packed schedule of activities throughout the year.

Marshfield Primary School Parents & Friends Association exists to raise funds, provide experiences and opportunities for the advancement of learning, wellbeing and enjoyment of Marshfield Primary School pupils. This is achieved by a series of events, activities, workshops, community and business engagement, as well as the purchasing of equipment and resources for the benefit of pupils and school.

ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

We have an indoor 18 meter/20 yards, 12 lane range. Also an 18 lane with up to 100 yards shooting distance outdoor range.Our club sessions are 4 times a week. Scouting

We support: elderly people with food, medicine and wood, a Christian Centre & Music School, 2 Children's Programmes, 3 Children's Homes, a Homeless Shelter, a Child Development Programme. a school project, disabled children plus individuals and families in need. We give practical, spiritual and financial help to poor families and act as an agent in sponsoring children.

WE OFFER AFFORDABLE TRANSPORT TO THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN A TEN MILE RADIUS OF YSTRADGYNLAIS.WE ARE ABLE TO TRAVEL THROUGHOUT WALES

A community arts centre with a wide range of classes, exhibitions, events, education and community work.

We seek to serve school communities by presenting information about the Christian faith in line with statutory requirements. When a headteacher invites us, a local worker visits the school to take part in an assembly or teach a particular aspect of the school's provision. We work in South-East Wales, mainly in Welsh-medium primary schools.

The charity supports the work of Capital Church Cardiff. This includes providing regular public worship services, home-based study groups and social activities. Support is given to an organisation helping street sex workers in Cardiff. There are friendship and project links with churches in South Wales, Ghana, Guyana and Kenya.

Amateur Dramatic Company which provides arts to the local communities throughout South Wales

SEF CYMRU is a charity that seeks to address educational underachievement and improve community cohesion and social integration through various activities e.g. study clubs for children and courses such as ESOL, IT and sewing classes for women. We also run advice and information sessions for women to enable them to access services.
