We are a community choral society. We rehearse choral works composed between 1600 and the present day, mainly of classical repertoire, and perform them to the general public in high quality concerts with professional soloists, instrumentalists and orchestras. We also undertake training sessions and fund-raising activities such as singing at weddings and carol singing.

THE CHARITY HAS A PRIMARY MINISTRY IN GAY, LESBIAN, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER COMMUNITIES, PROVIDING THE SAFE ENVIRONMENT OF AN ACCEPTING CONGREGATION WHERE PEOPLE CAN FIND GOD'S SALVATION, PERSONAL SUPPORT, SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND GUIDANCE TOWARD HEALTH AND WHOLENESS. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH CELEBRATIVE WORSHIP SERVICES, SUPPORTIVE CARE GROUPS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, JUSTICE, ADVOCACY AND SOCIAL ACTION

The study and practice of choral music in order to foster the public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance.To provide a regular series of first class choral concerts by maintaining a chorus, and by engaging orchestras and artists of high repute.

Facilities for paddle-sport and associated water-sports in the Bedford area.Instruction to other paddlers in all levels of paddle-sport and associated water-sports with the purpose of improving standards and personal proficiency.Opportunities to compete in various paddle sport discipline sporting events.Supervision and organisation for social paddling.

The charity supports music activities for young people and adults in Beds and surrounding areas. Following the demise of Bedfordshire Music, we have become responsible for operating the holiday youth music ensemble courses in the former county and advising on policy with the local Music Hubs. Our aim is to provide access to musical opportunities for young musicians appropriate to their abilities.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

This 300 year old charity makes grants to young people of secondary school age and normally up to first degree level for expenses arising from education. Some priority is given to needy young people with the family name Kentish. Otherwise, applicants need to be permanently resident in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire.

Meetings, lectures & classes & other forms of recreation & leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The club was founded in 1968. We help people with various disabilities to use laptop computers. In this context we provide other social activities including an annual holiday. We meet weekly each Friday at the Priory Church Hall, Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

The Charity provides social, cultural, educational and sporting activities for the residents of Stagsden. It provides and maintains the Village Hall as a high quality venue for these activities.

Provision of a Village Hall for local community use including Parish Council meetings, clubs, MP surgery, polling station and events such as Harvest Supper, Bingo Nights, etc.

The LAKPA provides support to persons suffering from kidney disease in particular patients from Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire receiving treatment via the Lister Hospital, Stevenage. We provide services or items to improve the welfare of renal patients and carers e.g. equipment, printed information, speakers, grants to patients and subsidised social events.

Dancing, whist, bingo, holidays & outings for over 55s, company for people on their own to keep active.

Supports the growth of bible based churches in the South Central area of England through the encouragement of pastors, support for church plants, conferences and training of new bible teachers.

Another successful year as we re-build our repertoire and bring new members up to speed. In September we joined another chorus and a quartet on stage to entertain a sell-out audience. Shortly afterwards we hosted a Time to Harmonise course introducing a number of people to the enjoyment and benefits of singing in four-part close harmony. Some have auditioned and joined the chorus.
