The Charity is a Church which operates in Congleton, Cheshire but also supports other Christian missionaries and charities worldwide. The objects of the Church are to a) advance the Christian faith, b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services and c) to advance education.

The charity provides grants to advance the education of the public, especially those living in North Wales and the North West of England, through the promotion of the arts. The charity focuses in particular on facilitating the purchase of works of art for public display and promoting the renovation, conservation and maintenance of works of art for the public benefit.

The relief of poverty in Nantwich and surrounding areas in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals and families in need and/or charities or other organizations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Barnton Pentecostal Church is a Christian church reaching out with the love of God to all in our community and beyond. We believe in worshipping our creator God that in him we can experience an abundant and full life.

Scouting activities

We host, assist or financially support the following events for the benefit of the community:Variety Show, Summer Carnival, Music Festival, Bonfire Fireworks display, Alsager Christmas Market and Christmas light switch-on, Santa Float, One World Week

All scouting activities, which include: kayaking, archery, climbing & abseiling, camping, mountain biking, Music, Dance.

TEMPO Youth Theatre Group brings one musical each year to the local community. We perform at The Evans Theatre, Wilmslow, Cheshire. We educate young people in theatre arts.The show in March 2026 will be the musical 'Sister Act.'

To advance such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit by making grant and awards to charities and other organisations that provide public benefit, principally within communities located in Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire.

To provide professional and immediate response to search and rescue calls from Staffordshire Emergency Planning Department to assist the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to save lives and render assistance as required in Staffordshire and adjacent counties. To assist and liaise with other voluntary bodies wherever required.

To promote for the inhabitants of Macclesfield and the surrounding area the provision of community facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants, in particular but not exclusively by delivering a range of creative arts and community projects.

Charity provides daily canal boat trips for disabled/elderly people.

To educate the public in the operatic and dramtic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and tastein the said arts (to assist and further such chartable institutions and charitable purposes, as the committee shall from time to time determine).

To promote Arts and Theatre by Production of Plays. We also run youth groups to train youth in all aspects of the Theatre

HEARTBEAT CHORUS IS A LADIES' A CAPPELLA CHORUS SPECIALISING IN LADIES' BARBERSHOP STYLE SINGING. WE AIM TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF A CAPPELLA SINGING IN ALL ITS ASPECTS. WE SING A WIDE RANGE OF MUSIC, MAINLY UNACCOMPANIED BUT ON OCCASIONS WITH ACCOMPANIMENT.

aiM is a charity that provides financial support to families that require professional support through counselling by registered professionals after the loss of a family member from Sepsis. Support is available for families in the Stoke-on-Trent area, support can be in the form of 1 to 1 counselling sessions for group support led by a professional. All funding is self generated by aiM.
