We provide free confidential advice, support and help to sufferers and/or their families who suffer from an asbestos related disease in the Cheshire area.

The provision of sports facilities (currently football pitch, bowling green, croquet area, astroturf and pavillion) for the inhabitants of Goostrey and the contigual parishes with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The Charity provides accommodation for elderly people in need. Gardening and general repairs are carried out in return for a weekly maintenance charge.

Three main areas of activity:a) ministry - working to help, support and connect with people;b) community - working in partnership with churches and local agencies to serve the localcommunity;c) grants and donations - providing financial support to people, churches andcommunities with whom we relate, both locally and overseas.

ACS presents 3-4 concerts a year at prestigious Manchester venues and local churches. Our members are amateur singers who have the opportunity to perform choral works across a wide repertoire with professional orchestras and soloists. We also hold introductory singing events for the general public. We provide enjoyable, musical learning experiences for members, audience, and the public.

The provision of transport for residents registered a with medical practice in Congleton to attend medical appointments.

A Parish Hall for use for ecclesiastical purposes in connection with the Ecclesiastical Parish of North Rode Saint Michael in the Diocese of Chester for the furtherance of the work of the Church of England in the aforesaid Parish by the provision of facilities for the spiritual and moral training of persons residing in or near the said Parish.

Support of artistic and cultural activities in the area, including the production and hosting of plays and other productions in the Harlequin Theatre, Queen Street, Northwich.

Congleton U3A operates in the Congleton (Cheshire) area to encourage and facilitate educational and other activities, primarily aimed at retired and semi-retired individuals. The objective is for individuals with skills or expertise to share these (on a voluntary basis) with other members. The wide range of skills includes languages, dancing, handicrafts, sports and multiple educational subjects.

We are actively raising funds to open a local sensory centre and social cafe in the Northwich or Winsford area for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities in Cheshire West and surrounding areas.

A weekday mental health service user Peer Support "Drop In" with a two course lunch facility for a contribution.Help with welfare benefits and, developing worthwhile meaningful occupation along with, aiding effective coping strategies with clients and support to live in the communitySome counselling availability.Management/administration by a part-time psychologist.

The village hall is a non-profit making facility funded entirely through rental charges, donations and fundraising events.

Preserving public transport vehicles (buses).

The Village Hall has 2 halls with modern facilities available to rent for events. activities include WI, Keep fit, Flower Club, Scottish Dancing, Mini Athletics, Hartbeeps, Tiny Talk, Yoga, Box n Burn, U3A . It is also the meeting point for High Lane Residents' Association, High Lane Village Forum & High Lane Allotments.

Religious Activities Provides Advocacy/advice/information

We hold a weekly Sunday morning service, Communion once a month and an afternoon tea service once a quarter.We provide facilities for people to come for lunch, keep fit and social groups We support local and national charities.We are involved with the local community and have a coffee lounge for community and charity use.We have good disabled access to all rooms

The aim of Chester Youth Club is to help educate young people through their leisure time activities to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.

The promotion of the amateur sport of volleyball, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball for the public benefit and the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, by the provision of facilities for playing volleyball, beach volleyball sitting volleyball in Newcastle, North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

The Charity exists to provide encouragement, mainly in the form of financial grants for young people of Cheshire between the ages of 5 - 25yrs to get involved with crime prevention, community safety or citizenship projects in their communities. Appropriate visits are conducted by the High Sheriff of Cheshire in an endevour to raise both an awareness of the particular scheme and publicity for it
