Middlewich Community and Youth Project (MCYP) own a building called The Wych Centre and use it to provide community and youth facilities for local residents. The Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists organises a series of educational meetings throughout the year. These include clinical and scientific lectures relevant to the field of anaesthesia, small symposia themed to a particular area of anaesthetic practice (inc. critical care and pain management topics), and a competition for trainee anaesthetists to encourage research in the field of anaesthesia.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide grants to assist overseas students at higher education institutions, studying in the Diocese of Liverpool.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learnmore and be more. Each week, the 2nd Poynton Scout Group gives the young people of Poynton the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.
