The charity engages in the following activities:- provision of support to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, in the form of small grants for crisis needs, and funding for activities- raising awareness of issues surrounding domestic violence- monitoring the provision of services for women who have experienced domestic abuse

To hold the Trust fund upon trust, to apply the income and so far as may be permissible the capital, for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the National Health Service, including related research activities. To support a range of charitable and health related activities benefiting both patients and staff, which clearly demonstrate public benefit.

The objective of the PTA is to advance the education of the pupils of Goostrey Community Primary School by providing equipment and amenities so as to complement the curriculum, or fulfil the needs of the children. It can also make direct representation to any relevant authority on behalf of the parents and children.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential.

Study and performance of choral music.

provides accommodation for activity groups, all age ranges - from dance,drama,keep fit, changing facilities for football,art classes and general meetings and events for Ness Village and surrounding areas

Scouting activities including camps and fund raising at the scout hut,in the local area and the UK

Adult Musical Threat performing shows for all, twice a year. We also perform concerts for local groups , for example in retirement and care homes and at public events, such a community fetes and Pride events. Fundraising and social activities

The charity is a school association and as such raises funds through fairs, sponsored events and other parent/teacher activities to provide facilities for the school and its pupils not covered by LEA budgets.

UMBRELLA ORGANISATION OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN MERSEYSIDE & ENVIRONS, REPRESENTS THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN CIVIC, CULTURAL & FAITH LIFE, & ACTS AS FACILITATOR PROMOTING CO-OPERATION BETWEEN VOLUNTARY & STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. IT WORKS TO SHAPE FUTURE JEWISH LIFE ON MERSEYSIDE, FACILITATING & PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL & RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY & INTERFAITH & INTER-ETHNIC UNDERSTANDING & HARMONY.

To relieve the suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide & maintain refugees, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception of care of unwanted animals and the treatment of sick or ill-treated animals.

The regular activities of the year included; Sunday worship, teaching and ministry meetings, mid week Life Group (home) meetings, hosting the nationally acclaimed Alpha Courses, training events and conferences. Our church members also help to manage and support the midweek activities of a local foodbank and community charity, Hope Central.

YOUNG PEOPLE'S COMMUNITY CENTRE

Children and young people - education and training.

To assist in the saving of human life in cases of shipwreck, fire and other dangers, in the North West.To recognize the actions of persons instrumental in saving, or attempting to save human life from danger, by the granting of medals, parchments and certificates.To encourage the teaching of techniques and methods of rescue and lifesaving on land, sea and in the air.

SUPPORTSMALL LOCAL CHARITIES AND SOMETIMES LARGER CHARITIES IF THEY HAVE A PROJECT IN THE NORTH WEST.

This is a primary school Parent-Teacher Association that raises money to help support the school. Fundraising events include summer and Christmas fairs, social events and sponsored events.

To provide facilities for furthering the efficiency of units of the reserve forces and cadets association for the time being in the administrative county of Cheshire and the metropolitan borough of Wirral.

Activities for children aged 6 - 14 1/2 following scouting guidelines. Emphasis on outdoor pursuits, skills and social opportunities within the village setting and further afield.

Research and information on the life and works of Elizabeth Gaskell, and the promotion of her works through talks, conferences, seminars, publications, outings and any other appropriate activities.

The relief of persons in need by reason of visual impairments or reading difficulties, in particular but not exclusively in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, by the provision of a Talking newspaper and entertainment content.

We offer an opportunity for young people from the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales area to perform in regular theatre performances and concerts, led by professionals and in a professional venue

Provision and maintenance of members meeting hall providing facilities for fellowship, support, sporting, exercise and creative activities.

The charity arranges events within the school community. For example, pupils disco, and annual family BBQ.

Grants awarded to organisations for the good of the general public within the Cheadle area of Stockport under the auspices of the Cheadle area committee.
