Two agricultural shows held each year May & August - Weather permitting. Attendance 3,000 plus. May show includes gymkhana, dog show, trade fair plus attractions. August show includes horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, trade fair & attractions. All helping to raise public awareness & interest in local agriculture.No shows held in 2020, 2021 due to Covid 19. No shows 2022 as moved to new showground.

Educational and Leisure activities for older people.These include Reading groups, Music, Gardening, Walking, Bridge, Canasta, Theatre, Local/Social History, Crafts, Current Affairs, Geology, Bowls, Art Appreciation, French, Modern Philosophy, Talks on various subjects, and Social gatherings.

SERVING WOMEN IN THE COMMUNITY

Provision of community transport to local people in and around Malpas, Cheshire where there is very limited public transport. We provide services to community groups and charities catering for those who are disadvantaged by age, financial issues, isolation or physical frailty.

To advance the education of the pupils at Rosebank School, Barnton, specialising in the education of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

For assistance of applicants when in reduced circumstances through misfortune and to provide financial assistance to applicants for the purpose of Educational or Vocational Training of applicants.For the assistance of applicants which are charitable organisations.

The alleviation of poverty to individuals within defined parishes within the bounds of Cheshire East Council formerly known as the Borough of Crewe and Nantwich.

Maintain and rent Tilston school house and provide financial support for Tilston Church of England Primary School.

The Sorby Natural History Society is the Natural History society for the Sheffield City region, providing education, research and publications, including biological and geological recording of wildlife, habitats, rocks and landscapes. Operates mostly in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the Peak District.

Maintain,insure and make available for lettings,Church Minshull Village Hall.

HOLDING FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR USE BY THE SCHOOL TO ENHANCE THE SCHOOL LIFE FOR THE PUPILS EG PAYING FOR COACHES FOR TRIPS, PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SCHOOL EQUIPMENT AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT.

To advance the education of pupils in the school, by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and engaging in activities or providing facilities and equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The Scout Association is a vital part of many communities providing a challenging and rewarding experience especially to the young. This Scout Group is run entirely by unpaid volunteers and relies heavily on its own money raising efforts, on grants and awards and on the generosity of the local community.

Fund raising at school activities have included :-Cake and sweets sale, Christmas fair, Summer end of term party, bingo nights and discos. We also have a Lottery Club.

recreational games, craft clubs, whist, bingo and social events. The hall is available to hire for community events and parties.

The Scout Group has Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer Units. The Aim of the association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law.

Tuesday Club, Derby for the benefit of mentally disadvantage adults supported by volunteers. Weekly Tuesday social event and a number of outings each year to entertainment or for weekends to Back Dane.Back Dane. A one time hill farm in Staffordshire. Provision of accomodation for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, for groups supporting the welfare of disadvantaged adults, etc.

1. Run an Arts Council accredited museum displaying the history and heritage of Whitchurch, Shropshire and its surrounding area.2. Conduct research projects relevant to the history and heritage of Whitchurch, producing booklets, leaflets and internet material.3. Maintain a historical archive of artefacts relevant to the history of Whitchurch.
