The preservation and promotion of art, culture and literature through workshops in classical temple music and dance, a handicraft project as part of a rehabilitation programme for homeless women, maintenance of archives and a library of relevant literature and an agricultural arts project. SAT works in conjunction with an Indian charitable trust.

Relieving either generally or individually persons resident in Acton, Brindley, Burland or Worleston who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of such persons.

We meet once a month, with a speaker and visit other institutes. Along with the occasional outing.

Relief of poverty in Dodleston Parish

The Society was formed over 50 years ago to ensure the highest standards for the development of Altrincham, with the aim of creating and maintaining an environment which is pleasant and attractive for its residents to live in and enjoy. It has in recent years been particularly concerned to influence ongoing major developments in the town.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILDREN WHO ATTEND THE SCHOOL.

BPCIG operates soley within the Parish of Brereton, Cheshire, for the benefit of the wellbeing of residents of Brereton. Our projects include developing and improving local facilities, for all ages and all abilities, providing information about Brereton, including events, running a youth group for our young people, and supporting other local organisations in their activities.

We provide local news USB Memory Sticks each week to the blind and partially sighted in our area.

The principal activity is to organise talks for members on history topics relating to Congleton and the surrounding area.

Regular family fundays. Discos for teenagers/adults. Trip to theme park. 4 day playscheme during summer holidays. Provide information packs for new parents. Monthly support group meetings. Xmas parties. Fundraising dance. Picnics during summer holidays.

WOMENS INSTITUTE

many activities open to members including talks, outings, craft activities, socialising, opportunities to participate in campaigning on various issues.

The objects of the charity are:a) For the public benefit, the preservation, conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and biodiversity of St John's Wood and St Helena's Church to encourage others to engage with, understand, enjoy and protect the woodland and church site.b) in pursuance of the above, to advance the education of the public.

YETI holds regular meetings in which aspects of the charity are discussed.Fund raising activities are undertaken.The young people undertake a programme wherby the aims of the charity can be more broadlypublicised.A rolling programme of Youth Exchanges between young people in U.K. and a similar group in Tamil Nadu is being undertaken.Keeping in touch with our NGO host groups in India.
