The principal activity of The Chaplaincy is to serve all who work at or pass through Manchester Airport. Runcorn and District Foodbank activities are the prevention or relief of poverty - by providing emergency food boxes containing a supply of balanced and nutritional foodstuffs to individuals in need and provides signposting to relevant information and other advisory services. Non-perishable food is donated by the community and is distributed to individuals via seven distribution centres.

Lower Moss Wood is an educational nature reserve and wildlife hospital . It provides a place for schools, disabled visitors, environmental groups and others to come and learn about conservation and the environment. The wildlife hospital takes in any orphaned, sick or injured wild animal or bird for care. Lower Moss Wood is also a private nature reserve.

We exist to help people move toward God by providing opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their faith and achieve their God given potential. We provide practical support to the needy, work to alleviate loneliness and give benevolent gifts to charities. We aim to meet spiritual, emotional and practical needs via meetings, community, parent&toddler groups, small group meetings and more.

The object of the charity is to provide and maintain a Community Centre for the use and benefit of residents of the local community.

Our objectives are delivered by matching relevant skills and expertise offered pro bono from the business community to resource needs in the voluntary sector.We do this in three ways: Short-term projects, or Quick Fixes; longer-term projects involving a range of professional skills; and, sourcing Trustees, Mentors, or Critical Friends to deliver longer-term ongoing support.

Dementia Together Wirral facilitates, organises and operates events for those living with dementia, their carers and former carers social events to relieve their social isolation by way of activities and services including regular memory cafes, singing/music, walking, and theatre together with mini-coach and canal boat outings with one-off items of entertainment such as dances, etc.

Providing food, advice and support for the residents of Blacon, especially those who struggle with food poverty.
