As a PTA we try to raise funds for the children at school for extra equipment that the school can not afford to buy. For example we have bought interactive whiteboards for all of the classrooms. Our main fund raising event is the Rose Queen in June, which we try to make fun for all of the family.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society, guided by the Scouting values of Integrity, Respect, Care, Belief and Cooperation. We promote and provide scouting activities for young people, in partnership with adults in the Malpas and surrounding areas of South-West Cheshire.

Advancement of education for the public benefit at Chester Cathedral

Middlewich U3A has provided a range of learning, exercise, and social activities.

Walks and talks designed and held to enable the general public to learn more about the natural, historical and cultural value of the Northwich Woodlands.Grants and donations obtained to enable facilities to be installed, improving the amenity and recreational value of the area, including installation of interpretation panels and construction of a bird hide for use by the public.

The association is established to alleviate the physical and mental distress of persons with cancer, of the partners and immediate family of persons with cancer and of persons recently bereaved through cancer. The area of benefit of the association shall be the Borough of Macclesfield, all areas bordering on it and others such areas as the association may from time to time determine.

Performing a minimum of four concerts per year of very varied choral music, working with professional/graduate student soloists and musicians to the benefit of our members and audiences

U3A Frodsham provides life long learning in a friendly, social setting for older people in Frodsham and the surrounding area. We have a monthly meeting for all members with speakers on a wide variety of topics. We currently have 32 different interest groups which members organise and contribute to. National U3A provides Summer Schools, online resources, 5 magazines a year and subject advisors.

Fundraising for school

To raise funds to supplement equipment and resources for the benefit of children attending Rode Heath Primary School

To preserve the heritage of the village of Weaverham in planning matters and civic pride. To arrange functions and lectures to the benefit of the members, and work with other local groups e.g. the Weaverham History Soc.

Provides grants to persons connected with Liverpool and Mann, and Manchester and Warrington Area Meetings of the Society of Friends for religious and educational purposes. It provides financial support for the maintenince of some of the buildings within the two Area Meetings

Children and young people - education and training.

Our group promotes and preserves the tradition of brass band music combined with encouraging the development of youngsters both as musicians and good citizens. The band caters for children between the ages of 8-20, and currently has approx 85 members.

The charity has been established over 30 years and are the main fundraising body of the school. A wide range of events are organised throughout the year.The organisation is incredibly successful for a small primary school raising considerable funds each year. Monies raised by the association have helped purchase computer equipment, sports equipment and substantial playground equipment upgrades.

We are a parent and teacher association; a not for profit organisation who organise and host a variety of fundraising events for the pupils, parents, carers and the local community. All monetary contributions are raised for the benefit of the school and it's pupils. We hope to enrich the learning experience for all pupils at the school.
