Semmozhi Tamil school is a part-time language school that aims to advance the Tamil language and culture by educating children and young adults.The School runs Tamil classes every Friday between 7 PM - 8.45 pm at Sale High School, Norris RoadSaleCheshireM33 3JR

We raise money from various activities such as marshalling fun runs, having stalls at local carnivals, acting as Santa's and helpers at Christmas. We then spend all of the money raised in the community and on national and International appeals. We help individuals, local Charities and International causes and disasters

The charity raises additional funds for one school to purchase additional items of resources, also supports school trips and enhancing the childrens education via purchasing musical instruments, outdoor play equipment, school tracksuits for teams etc. This is done from xmas fairs, summer fairs, coffee & cake mornings, easter egg hunts etc.

The choir gave 4 of its own concerts in the year . The audiences for our concerts were c130 .

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of Ashton, Mouldsworth and Horton cum Peel without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and;(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants
