ADVANCEMENT OF JEWISH FAITH BY ESTABLISHING CENTRE AT SANDYS ROW SYNAGOGUE FOR RELIGIOUS WORSHIP, EDUCATION AND GENERATION OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE JEWISH RELIGION AND ITS HERITAGE TOGETHER WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER FAITHS IN EAST LONDON AREA. MAINTAINING SYNAGOGUE, TO FOSTER/MAINTAIN GOOD RELATIONS AMONG OTHER FAITHS, PROVIDE, PROMOTE, SUPPORT PROJECTS, RELIEVE POVERTY IN EAST LONDON AREA.

To bring talented young keyboard players before the public, by developing new performing opportunities and new audiences. It organises recitals which serve to introduce them to the public and to members of the music profession who can assist their careers.

The trustees agreed that the principle areas of focus of the Charity are :-- to support direct service provision both itself and through connections with Age Concerns/ Age UK?s in neighbouring London boroughs- to fundraise to support services for older people in London- to act as an oversight and co-ordination body for Age Concerns/Age UK services delivered in the City of London

The Foundation does not seek donations from outside sources. Its income is derived solely from sources associated with the Trustees, mainly J.S. Arthur, one of the original Trustees. Various amounts are donated to other charities, but recently the predominant donations have been to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to research a specific form of Breast Cancer and Maggies

The main activity of the charity is the meeting of members to fellowship together in the spirit of love and oneness, sharing the word of God as contained in the Bible. We also endavour to have a possitive impact on the society by showing love to everyone and assisting the needy in our own little way.

THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR UNDER 5 YEAR OLDS IN THE ORPHANGE AND CHILDREN WHO WERE ALSO PREVIOUSLY HOUSED IN THE ORPHANAGE. THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR EDUCATION ON FINISHING SCHOOL AT 16. THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH FOR THE CHILDREN. THE ADVANCEMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

Operations of the Foundation were scaled up in year ending 31 Dec.13. Two full-time employees joined the team.The Board approved 9 new & follow-on grants & 4 PRIs. Thorough monitoring of projects was conducted. PRIs were approved for companies in Latin America, Africa & UK, in education and youth development. A small amount of interest was received for one of the PRIs in year ending 31 Dec. 13.

General charitable activities

To provide, furnish and maintain a Chapel in the Crypt of St. Paul's Cathedral for the use by members of the Order of the British Empire, and to provide for the holding of Services both in the Chapel and in the Cathedral.

The objects of the Society are to advance the education of the public in industrial law and industrial relations, their practical application and development with a view to the education of all persons who are concerned with industrial law and industrial relations

Financial year 2016 to 2017 was a successful year for our charity as a modest growth in income received from our donors was achieved helping us fund various projects for those in need approaching us for assistance. Concerted efforts started at the end of 2013 to increase awareness of what we do as a Church especially around spiritual growth and charitable activities has continued to bear fruit.

Teaching juniors and adults to row with the aim of increasing their fitness and taking part in competition. The club is nationally competitive in junior, senior and veteran classifications both male and female. The club also provides for non-competitive members.The charity achieves these aims by the provision of all the necessary equipment such as boats, a gymnasium and volunteer coaches.

Robert College UK engages in fund-raising activities to support educational activities in Turkey (including social and physical training) of people under the age of 21 in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at Roberts College of Istanbul.
