The Taqasim Music Foundation was established to preserve, share and spread an appreciation of the rich musical traditions of the Middle East. It is there to promote national and international musicians, for the benefit of the artistic community and the general public.

City Chamber Choir's principal activity is the study in rehearsal and the presentation in live performance of choral music. Its repertoire is wide-ranging, with a particular emphasis on less familiar music from early and 20th century periods, frequently performed a cappella. The choir has been involved with a number of new commissions and is recognised for its enterprising programming.

The presentation of concerts and other activities to educate the public in the art and science of music

The CLO perform 3 concerts per year, rehearsing on Thursdays for 10-12 weeks per term. The CLO is non-profit making and exists purely for its members' enjoyment. Key decisions are put to the vote of members. The committee (chair, treasurer, orchestra manager, membership manager and communications officer) meet twice a month in order to discuss the running of the orchestra.

The objective for King Georges Field City of London is to preserve in perpetuity a recreational and playing field as a memorial to King George V, provide much needed open space for sports, games and recreation.
