The aims of the AEF are to establish a holistic and Islamic education for the child from birth till the end of school, using the Montessori method and the values and principles of the Islamic Faith. These aims are delivered through the means of an all through school for pupils of all backgrounds and the delivery workshops and courses for parents. The AEF currently operates in London and Essex.

We create opportunities and provide education with particular emphasis for those who are disadvantaged; aiming to instil confidence, inspire creativity and increase communication skills through expressive arts. The Foundation awards grants to individuals and organisations to meet the cost of education that is not the statutory responsibility of either central or local Government.
