The North Gower Food Hub is a food bank covering Gower and the immediate surrounding area that provides weekly (and emergency) food parcels, including essential toiletries and other household items, delivered to individuals and families in need. We also signpost clients to relevant information, sources of support and other advisory services.

Glantawe (Swansea Valley) Lions support individuals and organisations in the Swansea Valley. We give out Food Parcels at Christmas. We support local foodbanks within our area. We encourage individuals to remember a loved one at Christmas with our 4 Trees of Light. We run a monthly coffee morning. We collect spectacles as part of our Sight First campaign. We give out Message in a Bottle canisters.

Regional Bowls League and Competitions and also compete in Internationals and Home Nations Tournaments, fundraising activities to support players attending International and Home Nations Tournaments.

The charity encourages older people of all backgrounds no longer in full-time employment to engage in educational/cultural activities. They are helped to use their skills to teach and learn on an affordable basis within a wide selection of groups. The U3A seeks to demonstrate their continuing contributions to the community as a whole and to project a positive image of their place in society.

The Gower Chorale is a mixed voice choir that rehearses and performs classical choral music in Swansea about 3 times per year in concerts held in local churches. The choir members are amateurs but the conductor is a professional musician. The Chorale also sometimes raises money for other charities.

Our parents and friends Association works with our school, parents, pupils and local community to put on a range of events and activities. These include (but are not limited to); Christmas and Summer fayres, Discos, Film nights, Raffles, Cake sales and sponsored activities.

The relief of financial hardship amongst people in Birchgrove and the surrounding area in such ways as the trustees from time-to-time think fit, in particular, but not exclusively by providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities

The provision of a pre-school playgroup through the medium of the Welsh language.

Republic's day to advance the education of the public in the history and traditions of indian culture.

Our activity is to provide TLC Bears to A & E and Hospital Departments through the South Wales area

We provide social and advocacy services for people with learning difficulties at our premises at Friendship House.

WELFARE HALL SUPPORTING LOCAL COMMUNITY

The object of the Charity is to :-- Provide assistance to registered blind and partially sighted people within the areas of the City & County of Swansea and Neath & Port Talbot, by making grants of money or providing items, services or facilities.- Consult with blind and partially sighted people in the local area as to their needs and ensure that media is available in an appropriate format.

Provider of 24:7 stress free, physically and financially accessible, door to door transport to anywhere in UK from within 50 mile radius of Bristol Centre for disabled and vulnerable people & their families/friends/pa's/supporters

We supported 18 secondary school children and 32 primary school children by paying their school fees.. We paid for 6 teachers at the Adult Education Centre. There was an emergency appeal following a fire at one of the dormitories in St Luke's School. An initial payment of £6,000 was sent.

To provide and maintain the Pontlliw Village Hall for use by the inhabitants of the village of Pontlliw and surroundings

Loughor Inshore Rescue is a declared asset with the Maritime & Coastguard agency and primarily provides an Inshore Lifeboat. The Lifeboat provides the community with sea and coastal Rescue Services in and around the Loughor Estuary. The Crew also provide Flood Search & Rescue capability to the surrounding communities & Safety talks to schools.

A volunteer Male Voice Choir, rehearsing and performing concerts mainly in the Somerset Area and Bath. Encouraging men of all ages to join and develop their singing skillsRaising money for local charities at our performances

Dragon Arts and Learning promotes social inclusion through arts and learning. We dare based at The Factory, Church Street, Pontardawe, Swansea SA8 4JB. From 10:00am to 10:00, five days a week we are able to host workshops which include ceramics, art therapy, music, ICT and other creative industries. We have a 'no exclusion' ethos which means everyone is welcome to participate in workshops.

We are a non-profit charity that has been set up to help promote good mental health of veterans and serving members of the armed forces, who are suffering from combat related health issues. We are based in run from Swansea, South Wales, with a parcel of land near Pen-Y-Fan, which will be transformed into a retreat, that veterans and serving members of the armed forces can use for free.
