We give men the opportunity to talk to others who have been through the experience of diagnosis and treatment for prostate cancer, encourage men with cancer or symptoms of prostate disease to become better informed and able to discuss and make decisions about their treatment, and work with other agencies to improve awareness, education, diagnosis, therapy and support for men with prostate cancer.

The charity exists to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and their families in the Gower region of Wales. Food is at the heart of the charity- we believe that no child on Gower should go hungry. The charity provides a summer playscheme in school summer holidays.It is open access scheme for children aged 5 to 13, under 5's can attend with a responsible adult. The children participate in a range of play opportunities including den building; hammock making; fire making and cooking; art and craft activities; giant maze play both in and on it and anything else the children want to do.

Fundraising by means of fetes, raffles, discos, cake stalls, and social events to provide additional funds to the school and additional benefits to the children who attend, and their families.

We support 6 local special needs day services to purchase equipment or provide extra activities that the local authority is unable to fund.

The Murton recreational and village hall trust maintains its building and its lands for the benefit of local residents for recreation, education and social welfare making available its facilities both indoor and outdoor for the promotion of these purposes.

Provision of community hall facility

We arrange annual Activities throughout the year e.g. Our annual Summer and Christmas Fetes which are held on the school premises, Quiz nights, Cake Fayres, Summer and Christmas Discos, and various Easter events such as egg rolling, and egg decorating competitions, which includes the pupils of casllwchwr school, which they love taking part in.

Cylch Meithrin Sgeti provides a playgroup and a toddler group which offers a variety of play opportunities in a friendly Welsh-language environment.
