The objects of the Rotary Club of Calverley Charitable Trust Fund are:The prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit;The advancement of education, citizenship and community development;The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health or disability_the objects will principally be for the public benefit in West Yorkshire but may extend worldwide according to need

Providing and maintaining a playing field and play equipment for use by the general public in Darrington.

We perform several concerts a year in Wakefield and West Yorkshire, and promote early career singers as soloists. Proceeds from ticket sales help with the costs of the concerts.

The charity researches and publishes books about Public Transport in the City of Leeds and surrounding areas. It also restores historic public transport from Leeds. It assists other societies with information requests. The Society also holds regular social meetings at which speakers give talks on public transport related topics. 4 newsletters to members are published each year.

Supporting the educational needs of the children of Lofthouse Gate Primary School

LEAP enables students [14 to 19] to set up their own companies for a year, learning business skills, teamwork and problem solving. The programme helps them gain confidence and skills, which helps them with interviews for jobs and/or University. LEAP is run by volunteers from schools and local businesses.

Carrying out research projects. Organising conferences, fieldtrips and other events for the general public. Publishing books and leaflets relevant to the charity's objects.

? Offer grants to children with brain tumours in the Yorkshire area? Raise awareness about this devastating disease? Promote research into centres for cures of brain tumours & research into survivorship programmes? Offer support to children/young adults living with the effects of a brain tumour during and after treatment

The PTA fund raise for the benefit of the pupils in the school. Our regular activities include a Summer Gala, Christmas Fair, Coffee Mornings and Sports Days.

Monday and Wednesday woodcraft sessions 1-40pm. Tuesday painting for pleasure 6-8pm. 3rd Thursday garden club 6pm. 2nd Saturday district council surgery 10-30am. "Hands On" for adults and children in various venues around the district.

WEEKLY RECORDINGS OF LOCAL NEWS FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PLUS OTHER RELEVANT RECORDINGS.

Provide sports activities for children and young adults who have a learning difficulty. The main sports offered are:- football, Indoor bowls, crown green bowling, swimming, boccia, indoor bowls, Kurling, indoor potted sports.

WYAS runs an astronomical observatory that provides pubilc outreach programs for the general public on a voluntary basis. This includes all age groups and people with disabilities. Group visits are encouraged and visits to schools and other organisations can be arranged.

THE PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE OF THE CHARITY IS THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND HARDSHIP AND IN PARTICULAR THE RELIEF OF YOUNG CHILDREN AND THE VULNERABLE. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE PAYMENT OF DONATIONS TO THOSE CONSIDERED WORTHY.

The prevention or relief of poverty of the people in Malawi by:1) The provision of grants and bursaries;2) The funding of the activities of the Malama Feeding Centre in Thyolo;3) The collection, dispatch and distribution of education, medical and relief goods throughout Malawi;4) To improve the conditions of life and/or promote the education of the people of Malawi.

Raising funds for Stanley St Peters Primary School by organising and running school and community events, sponsored activities and applying for project specific grants.

WE HAVE PROVIDED GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST THEM WITH EXPENSES WHILE THEY TRAIN TOWARDS ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD

We are a family Paddle sports club, founded in 1955, and based in and around Wakefield in West Yorkshire, affilated to Paddle Uk (Formally known as British Canoeing).Club membership is drawn from a wide geographical area ,catering for a variety of interests including White Water and touring Kayaking, Canoeing, and Paddleboarding

1) To promote the craft of woodturning for the public benefit and in doing so raise the appreciation of the creativity, skill and heritage of woodturning.2) To advance the education of the public in the craft and skill of woodturning.
