We provide support to people living with sight loss across the Wakefield District. We do this through a variety of practical and wider wellbeing services, including home visits, Demonstration and Advice events, and a programme of community outreach designed to bring people together for friendship and support. We work closely with colleagues at Wakefield Council and a variety of other partners.

The Christian Africa Relief Trust is a charity which provides goods to the people of Africa, free of charge, in order to make a positive difference to their lives. The goods are distributed regardless of caste or creed. We also sponsor and encourage self-help and developmental projects in education, medicine, agriculture and vocational training.

Our welcoming community provides rejuvenating experiences for the body and mind, creating a sense of belonging and joy, especially for older adults. We run specialist Parkinson's friendly programmes led by our creative dance artists who use images and music to get the body moving.

Seeking to relieve the want and poverty in Wakefield and the surrounding areas by providing a Resource Centre. Opening 5 days a week clients from any race or background via a referral system can visit the CAP centre. Here they will find friendship, counselling, clothing, shower facility and referral to other agencies as required.
