It encourages research by individual scholars, works with the universities, museums and antiquities services of the eastern African countries and liaises with international scholarship. It maintains a centre for research and a library at its base in Nairobi.

Provision of almshouses for older people and grants to individuals

Carers Network Westminster provides services for unpaid carers in the City of Westminster and adjoining boroughs, and for their families, cared fors, and employers. Key activities include; the provision of information and advice; emotional and practical support; support groups; breaks from caring; training; leisure activities; advocacy, carer involvement and awareness-raising.
