The objective of the charity is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for the playing of hockey.

The charity runs Doorstep Library projects sending volunteers to homes of children in disadvantaged areas to help them enjoy reading, read well, and to lend books. Parents are encouraged to contribute to their children's education, they are supported to access local services designed to help them and their children. The charity runs Doorstep Libraries in London.

We work to prevent and transform violent social conflict by: researching conflict dynamics; facilitating dialogue between groups affected by conflict; building capacity in local actors, allowing them to develop their own peacebuilding solutions and mechanisms, and communicating local recommendations to policy makers.See our annual report for full details of activities from this financial year.

We use music to help people who have experienced homelessness make positive changes in their lives, to advance the education of the public in the arts in particular but not exclusively in the art of opera. HCGA manages 4 community garden sites in Shepherds Bush, a glasshouse in Ravenscourt Park & Phoenix Farm in White City. We run volunteer programmes for people of all ages and abilities. HCGA also works in Westminster and RBKC.

NPFB addresses the "hidden hunger" and issues around the lack of food and opportunity which affect thousands of people across the UK. We provide not only food parcels but also advice through specialist partners in areas such as benefits and welfare. While no-one who needs help is turned away, our core area for both contributions and distribution is in the north of Westminster and Kensington.

The mission statement of St Michael's Chester Square is to be a church in the heart of London with a heart for London. The strategy to achieve this purpose is to plan services, events & courses in the church & in the community. In planning activities the PCC have considered the Commission's guidance on public benefit & in particular, specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion.

Delivery of higher education and training courses.

Home-Start supports families with at least one child under five, or expecting a baby, offering friendship and tailored practical and emotional support and advocacy. We train volunteers to work with families within their home.

St Mary's Trust acts principally to benefit the church of St Mary, Bourne Street, Pimlico, London SW1 (Church of England). It does so by providing accommodation for the Vicar of St Mary's and other clergy, and persons working for St Mary's, providing social facilities and meeting space, and financial assistance.

Paddington Arts is an arts and media centre for young people between the ages of 6 and 26.

LCAT is based at The Henry Dickens Community Centre from where it operates a range of community activities, including an after school and Holiday club for children which is supported by our Art Therapy services which operate open groups alongside the activities. LCAT also provides a range of Art Therapy services in schools as well as in other community spaces.

St Peter's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church; pastoral, evangelistic, social & ecumenical. It also has the maintenance responsibilites for the church complex of St Peter's.
