YBKA promotes beekeeping throughout Yorkshire, providing education, training and support for our members and informing the public at large, particularly children, about the important role that the honeybee plays in the natural ecology.

Finds ways of explaining Quakerism to the wider public through outreach events and arts activities. Holds 4 general open meetings to discuss topics of current interest and exercise responsibilities. Provides learning holidays for children & young people. Offers grants for meeting house repairs and extensions and helping individual Quakers in need.Administers linked Rawdon Friends School Trust.

Ryedale Dog Rescue is a charity caring for unwanted and abandoned dogs in the Ryedale, Scarborough and East Yorkshire areas. It is run by a team of volunteers and financed soley by donations and fundraising events.

To establish, secure and develop community facilities in Clements Hall for the benefit of the local community and for York generally.

Hope4Humanity provides relief around the world with activities to tackle poverty. Programmes to provide; shelter, healthcare, food, clothing and delivering emergency response to those in need.

The activities during the period include community outreach events, conferences and seminars, and welfare support.

Teach Ballet

The charity is a Christian church that has weekly Sunday services, where there is corporate worship, preaching and fellowship. The church creates opportunities for those wanting to enquire about the Christian faith to find out more, facilitates weekly meetings in homes where friendships are strengthened and growth in the Christian faith is nurtured, and works regularly with other churches.

To provide scouting activities for boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 18 years old from within the Acomb area. The Group runs an Explorer Unit, 2 Scout Troops, 2 Cub Packs, 2 Beaver Colonies, a Squirrel Drey plus a Scout Activity Centre at Redmire Station House.

Collective Church exists to engage with people everyday leading them to life with Jesus at the centre. We meet at The Priory Street Centre weekly for our Sunday Services. We meet in homes during the week for Collective Groups, which are smaller groups of people doing life with Jesus together. We also undertake projects to serve the city, and to share God's love.

The object of the fund is to assist in the provision of education at Huntington School in the wider sense of the word. The fund supports extra curricular activities which are not supported by the main school budget and receives income from fundraising activities. It does not exist to generate profit but to act as a bank for a wide number of activities.

York Liberal Jewish Community's only activities are the advancement of Liberal Judaism. In particular, but not exclusively, by the provision of public religious worship, arranging and conducting religious services and undertaking other religious duties such as religious,educational, recreational and charitable activities.

We provide space for community events for the town of Haxby and the village of Wigginton and their residents.

Operating in locations across the UK, we exist to help remove the societal barriers that to continue to disable people from taking part their communities . We create, support, and promote inclusion in communities, including through our: (1) community-led inclusive projects, (2) Community Sports Partner Programme and other collaborative initiatives, and (3) youth-led behaviour change projects.

Assist and support visually impaired in Selby District by supplying information, specialised equipment, advice, home visits, and social events. Social events include Bowls, Crafts, Knitting, Coffee mornings and fundraising events. We have open 4 days a week a Resource Centre to view specialised equipment and for demonstration. Some equipment available on loan.

The purposes and aims of the charity are to advance education for the public benefit by promotion of the arts, in particular, the art of drama.

Out of the residue of net yearly income to pay in respect of the clergy an amount agreed by the trustees. To pay either to the Parochial Church Council or directly any charges lawfully incurred in the maintenance and repair and insurance of the fabric of the parish church of All Saints, North Street. If in any year the whole of the said residue is not applied it shall be accumulated to form a fund

WE PROVIDE REGULAR MEETINGS FOR OUR MEMBERS, FOLLOW APPROPRIATE PROGRAMMES FOR THE DIFFERENT AGE RANGES, ENCOURAGING LEARNING, SELF DEVELOPMENT, DECISION MAKING AND TEAM LEADING.OUR MEMBERS ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL GUIDING VISITS, CAMPS AND ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES.WE ARE OPEN TO ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS FROM THE AGE OF 5 AND WELCOME MEMBERS WITH DISABILITIES.
